They grew up being taught middle class whites are demons in disguise and the civil rights movement was the single most epic, awe-inspiring, and virtuous battle in all of human history. They're being so blasted with dopamine right now I bet most of them are rocking semis.

Putting him in the car would have placed him at greater risk of what is known as "positional asphyxia". Since he was already experiencing a medical emergency, the best thing to do was to keep him out of the vehicle and positioned like he was.

The fact his neck wasn't crushed is gonna play well to a well selected jury. Yeah the stress probably contributed to the heart attack, but there's a difference between choking someone to death and contributing to a heart attack in the eyes of impartial people
