If that's the one I'm thinking of, it was about 200 people and almost assuredly mostly Koreans and Gaijin.
My cousin went down to have a look. She said there were the usual leftist groups there (the Jap LGBTs) and some gaijin, but there were a lot of Chinese.
She said they also had a lot of nicely printed and good english signs. So it was clearly and organized protest. People were booing them though.
