I literally just deleted my Instagram yesterday afternoon. What was my "safe social media haven for only girly shit and my hobbies" quickly became yet another social media app for people to lecture and pontificate.
So fucking glad I did after seeing this now.

He might have been a shitty person in some ways, but I still think he did a lot of good. Honestly, you can't have a country that was founded on "all men are created equal" and then treat an entire group of people like second class citizens. There are no perfect people so there are no perfect leaders. He was the best leader for that job at that time.
Unfortunately, the accomplishments of King have been squandered. Very few people in current year value hard work or individual responsibility. They'd much rather aspire to live like a trust fund baby and blame their problems on everyone but themselves. The black community, however, seems to have developed this sense of entitlement to a degree that is cancerous.
There will never be a true revolution because any group that actually tries to change things will be infiltrated and co-opted. The rioters and looters are out there burning cities to the ground because somebody with power wants them to. The only question is who and for what reason?

Just fucking do it. Staying inside for two months sucked, but at least we had insides to stay in, and if these morons have their way a lot of people won't be having homes to lockdown in.
These fuckers need to be stopped ASAP and at this point I don't really care what happens to them. Everyone who makes a CHOICE to merge into the mass of screaming, brick-throwing idiocy loses their right to bitch and whine "But I was peaceful!" when they get arrested, tear-gassed, or pelted with rubber bullets. They made the extremely stupid call to try to "peacefully protest" when there are riots going on, and so as far as I'm concerned everyone involved need to experience some consequences for that stupidity.
The cop has been arrested, goal fucking achieved, and if you are still out at this point it should be assumed that you are participating in or enabling the rioting and looting.
Trump and the governors of every single state needs to stop dragging their fucking balls across the ground and put a stop to this yesterday. And if the whiny, smooth-brained fucks on twitter throw a tantrum and scream "FASCISM! BOOTLICKER!" then they can go right ahead, because the safety and livelihoods of the innocent people that are getting fucked raw by these rioting shitheads is far more important than a bunch of malcontents who are perpetrating rampant destruction and mayhem. The minute it starts turning to violence and arson is the moment you lose your right to start whining when the cops pepperspray and arrest everyone in sight.
Any legitimate reason to be out in the streets with a mob of people is gone. Stay inside, or get lumped in with the rioters. Wait until the dude actually goes to trial and protest peacefully outside the courthouse or something.
This is not rocket science.
