Do you really expect them to know, care or understand anything about Kościuszko or history in general? They just want to break stuff and since its a statue of some white guy put there by other white guys they don't care for it by default. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same if it was a statue of, let's say Lincoln because it had the misfortune to stand in their way. Of course, then some exceptional individuals from the media or academia would give an interpretation using buzzwords like whiteness, racism, systematic oppression, and so on.

It's a good theory, since we are in the midst of a Economic war and China may have been more crippled by Coronachan than initially reported. Maybe they need a more overt approach. Maybe much of the establishment and corporate media is in the pocket of China than first assumed?

Trouble is there are lots of different god (or no gods at all) so it is hard to unite on that. But we should be able to unite on at least a basic moral level. Almost all religions believe in the Golden rule: that you should "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" in one form or another. That alone could solve a lot of problems. Not all of them, but it would be a good start. And you could even get the atheists on board with that sentiment, too.
