MSM uses those same networks to get footage uploaded for editing and broadcast. If the hammer is coming down, the MSM is going to get removed, albeit slightly more gently, as well. If the Feds are smart, they'll make sure no one has footage of what happens next.

Many larger MSM outlets have their own private infrastructure, such as microwave and satellite links.
Or, at the very least, the Feds may ensure that there's enough of a delay between the shooting and broadcasting of footage in order to create mysterious link outages during "live" broadcasts. Think along the lines of the dump buttons used by talk radio to cut off profane callers before said profanity goes out to air.
