This has been BLM's talking point for years. The mayor of Seattle took this proposal seriously enough that there was a "community oversight" committee for the police which was basically just Marxists screeching about any and all policing. I'm not sure if it ever ended up happening, but the police were so neutered in Seattle that they didn't even have a union contract in 2018 because city hall kept stalling due to pressure from lefties. Basically their ideal "policing" set up would be like what happened at Evergreen: a bunch of queers and others at the top of the oppression hierarchy walking around en masse with baseball bats and targeting anyone who doesn't support their agenda. Mark my words, police forces in far left cities like Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco will be adopting some of this shit.

Remember when the show COPS was popular and people really felt sympathy for real policemen who had to do a thankless job? I miss those days...

Probably late with this, but I find it hilarious that there's Canadians complaining about "anti-black racism" and "police impunity", when the majority of police brutality and overreach targets 1st Nations Canadians.

The majority of "anti-black racism" in Canada occurs between black groups, like Jamaican vs. African, Ethiopian vs Somali, etc. There's also a recurring and major disdain for the police in those communities that stems entirely from people hating the way cops behaved in their home countries, and assuming that all cops everywhere are a bunch of savages.

While I can't say I'm happy these animals have destroyed museums and desecrated monuments, nor am I happy innocent people and their property have been destroyed and looted, it is nice to see even the people who thought kissing the asses of these criminals finding out they are no exception, and both corporations and the most idiotic bleeding heart sympathizers are finding out to their horror they will have their shit stolen and their property destroyed.

That one guy way back in the thread who lost an eye to these vermin, that should have been the deal breaker for giving them any further sympathy, he's permanently crippled now, but I guess he was still working through the denial.
