U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

America wouldn't have this issue if they stopped LARP'ing that blacks can be civil. It's not about militarism, or broken window policing. It's about the reality that wherever blacks are given the same rights as everyone else they use those rights to destroy everything around them, loot it and return to some sort of fucking tribal shitstate. Every. Single. Time.

The USA isn't the only Western country which has black people, and they have had equal rights in Europe for longer than they have had in America. If it was purely a matter of race, how is it that just about every other Western country manages to do without urban war zones in their inner cities? Why is it only the United States which has such an epidemic of unarmed civilians being killed by authorities under such horrendous circumstances? I think you should consider the possibility that these two questions might have a common answer, and that the problem ultimately lies with America's prevailing attitude towards crime (on both the criminal side, and the law enforcement side).

One of our offices got smashed last night and our fucking boss sent out an email talking about standing with the protesters and lives are more important.

On the surface, it appears that your boss may exercising their duty of care to their employees, rather than making a statement about their opinion on the riots.
I worked as a bank teller for the first couple of years of my career. One of the first things we learned in training was what do to in the event of a hold-up. The golden rule is to comply with the perp's instructions, thus reducing the risk of injury and/or death to our customers, our colleagues and ourselves. This is pure duty-of-care stuff that banks and many other cash-handling businesses drum into their employees.

For what it's worth, I was fortunate enough to have never been subject to a hold-up. But I know plenty of former colleagues that were, and it can be pretty nasty.

What's come out of the last few protests? I recall Iraq war, OWS, Trump election protests, BLM protests, and Women's March. I can't think of anything really that came out of any of those. It's just noise. Maybe that's why.

I can think of maybe the body cam thing that came out. Some legislation from OWS that ultimately achieved absolutely fuckall.

Generally, when you engage with the sort of activism tourist that's eager to go for nice walks and call it world-changing, the basic idea is that these outlets are essentially extended PR - the hope is to convince people, by the size of the protests themselves, that there's some sort of irresistible tide washing over that everyone should agree with. And so you essentially hoodwink some impressionable teens and college morons into adopting a reductive, simplistic platform ("science good," "black lives matter,"
"trans good," "single payer good") without them actually understanding the particulars of the platform - much less their own personal reasons for believing it.

This is also a ripe opportunity for your usual rich, unsuccessful, unremarkable loser to get some clout and attention for themselves - just browbeat some easily-convinced, all-too-trusting yuppies.

It's also remotely possible that there's a legitimate difference of opinion between two qualified pathologists about how to interpret the evidence. But yeah, probably the guy who works for the state wants to deflect as much blame from the police as possible, and the guy who's being paid by the family of the deceased wants to present the findings they're paying him to deliver.
It's a good time for me to bring up that the pathologist the family hired, Michael Baden, had a fraud working on his team for the Michael Brown autopsy that he performed.

Forced bussing was always retarded. Rather than going to a school in your neighborhood, you get shipped an hour and a half across the city. Knew a woman who almost had her daughter die because the kid had an asthma attack and she had a hell of a time getting to BFE where the school her kid was at to take her to the hospital.
The goal of forced busing is to eradicate majority-white schools, so inefficiency doesn't matter to liberals who want to impose it on communities. Look at historical opinion polls and you'll see the issue was even controversial among blacks.

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the Black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self improvement by hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

If I were you, I'd email your boss:

Okay. What about MY life? I'm half Black. And I need an income to live.
