U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

So, is this an "oh fuck, we're actually the bad guys" moment? Or at least, "This looks very bad for us, better pretend some of our Twitter accounts was actually right wing agitators"? Because in real life, when your master plan has hit maximum effectiveness, you reveal it to the world, just like in the movies.

Trump is honestly incredibly damaging for the right wing at this point as he is letting the protests run wild to increase his chances of winning in a few months at the cost of any remaining long-term stability.
Why? It's the mayors and governors that need to handle this shit, just like with covid. If Trump tried a heavy handed, top down approach, it would have been much worse for everyone involved.

They just want punishment to be doled out to people they deem deserve it.

That said, there are sensible reforms that could be proffered up - yet they aren't. Which is telling.

One idea would be a requirement for every state to have an Independent Police Oversight organisation. That way, if the police kill someone you can have an investigation that wouldn't have a conflict of interest.
That's the problem with their demands. Just because they deem someone deserves punishment doesn't mean they do. They want a solution to a problem that doesn't necessarily exist. Cops are always going to be the bad guy to them. That's why some are calling for the abolishment of the police. Even if there is an Independent Police Oversight organization, if they conclude the cop was justified, that isn't going to placate them. It's still going to be called systematic racism and an injustice.

Jewish Voice for Peace: Showing up in defense of Black lives
There are no sidelines from which to watch. I want you to know that we at JVP are bringing all we can in our commitment to defend Black lives in this historic time.

Black people are rising up in an incredible wave of resistance all over the U.S., responding to 400 years of brutal, deadly oppression. Police are responding with an eruption of violent repression all across the U.S. All organizations that care about justice have a responsibility to join this fight, and we are no exception.

We are answering the call from our members, allies, and hearts to defend Black lives and defund the police who are killing Black people. Black and Palestinian leaders – from Dr. King to Dr. Angela Y. Davis to Palestinian scholar Dr. Rabab Abdulhadi – remind us that justice is indivisible, and that all fights for freedom are intertwined at their roots. Black leaders are risking their lives to uproot the injustice at the heart of the U.S. and their work will transcend borders. I firmly believe that it strengthens every bit of our organizing to show up in solidarity right now.

JVP members are doing the work, from Black members who are leading on the ground, to white members doing powerful anti-racist work in their own communities, to our growing numbers of Jews of Color who are marching and speaking out in solidarity. In Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, Philly, Oakland, New York, and all across the country, our members are joining protests and vigils, forming support teams, and taking direct action. We will continue to do this all week, and as the struggle for justice continues.

Show up with us in the ways you can right now: Put on your mask and go to a protest, dig deep to donate to frontline Black-led organizations, join in the calls to #DefundPolice echoing across our cities.

All of us come to this work from different identities, perspectives, and histories. I take my own inspiration from my Ashkenazi ancestors, and the Bundist tradition of doikayt, or hereness. I see my safety and the safety of all of us as forged through our deep connections with each other, and with the communities that we are in.

Join me in being here, and in taking part in the transformation that this country has needed from the start.

TELL MINNEAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL TO DEFUND THE POLICE
In the wake of George Floyd's murder by MPD officer Derek Chauvin, and the Minneapolis Police Department's escalated violence against the city's grieving Black community, Minneapolis is in desperate need of visionary leadership.

We have called on the Minneapolis City Council to become these visionary leaders by pledging to defund the Minneapolis Police Department and invest in the resources that really keep us safe and healthy, especially in Black communities, Indigenous communities and communities of color. We have called on them to commit to the following by Saturday, May 30th at 8am:

1. To never again vote to increase police funding or to increase the police department's budget.

2. To propose and vote for a $45 million cut from MPD's budget as the City responds to projected COVID-19 shortfalls.

3. To protect and expand current investment in community-led health and safety strategies, instead of investing in police.

4. To do everything in my power to compel MPD and all law enforcement agencies to immediately cease enacting violence on community members.

Our city is on fire, our people are hurting, and Black communities are crying out for health and safety in the midst of pandemic. Now is the time to invest in a safe, liberated future for our city. We can't afford to keep funding MPD's attacks on Black lives.

SIGN THE PETITION TODAY & TELL OUR CITY COUNCIL TO TAKE THE PLEDGE!
DEFUND THE POLICE! Anarchy, looting, arson, and riots everlasting!

Ha I love the irony that the CEO of target said he supports the protests when those "protests ĺ was one of the first stores on the list of looting. Like you can see one big black jungle bunny carting a stack of HD 4k tvs out of the store on a flatbed in some of the highlights of the looting.

Though I'm sure the display of pride month merch was left untouched. Huh in fact I think most idiots forgot this is supposed to be pride month and forgot to put a rainbow flag in their bios. So that's one good thing about all this

How many of these Based Peaceful Protestors Standing Up to Antifa (TM) that seem to be on every news network are just optics cucks who don’t want the spergs to loot in broad daylight where the cops can see? Probably a lot IMO.

My favorite part of that is when people say black neighborhoods getting torched means it’s a psyop, as though black on black crime is unprecedented and had to be cooked up by Putin/Soros in a lab.
For every "Peaceful Protester" (Regeistered trademark) there are probably 5 looting rioters.

That wasn’t a looting, it was a reparations sale

Darkness falls across the land
The midnite hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize yawls neighbourhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpses shell

The demons squeal in sheer delight
It's you they spy, so plump, so right
For although the groove is hard to beat
It's still you stand with frozen feet
You try to run, you try to scream
But no more sun you'll ever see
For evil reached from the crypt
To crush you in it's icy grip
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzy ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller...
