You would think they would still have to apply the logic both ways. Judging from the other posts, the argument isn't "Protestors good cops good", which is what you'd be implying from the equivalency. They're actually going for "Protestors good cops bad", which...doesn't...really work with the setup. If she's saying that the protestors shouldn't be violent and looters are giving them a bad image then she is also saying that cops shouldn't get a bad image from the actions of bad actors too. Thus the protests are invalid and the cops are in the right regardless.

How does one actually regress in their artlike this? Like, try new styles and shit, sure, but holy christ. Any attempt at consistency is gone, that second panel smile is literally how small children draw happy faces and in the third panel Stephie's thumb is actually falling off her hand.
Labelle was aging them up to live out some deeply disturbing sexual fantasies but here they look younger than ever.
AND this new style doesn't improve on any of Labelle's ongoing art issues, horrible, ape like arm to leg ratios, them all existing in the colour voids, those weird tumour ears and character's pupils just falling out of their eyes.
Congrats, Labelle, you have legitimately impressed me for the first time ever. I scoffed and smugly said it couldn't be worse and you rose to that challenge like a champ.

Yeah, LaBelle hasn't really thought this one through, because if you reverse the argument the way he wants you to you're suddenly saying 'Well, the protests are good even though there are some rioters, therefore the cops are good even with some bad apples.'

When your required position is 100% ACAB no exceptions, you don't get to try and gotcha someone with an argument that hurts your position worse than it hurts theirs. Let's see Billy post that there's still good cops more directly, see how his asspatters react then.
