So long as the dollar is the world's reserve currency and the US is the banking capital of the world, then money printer can go brrrrrr for as long as it needs to in order to keep growth up. The global economy has been in fucking upside-down world for years as a long-term consequence of our decision to make a fiat currency created at will by a small group of people the basis of the entire international financial system. If things get bad enough that the US government and US multinationals have to live entirely off of borrowing for years, they fucking will.
"Mr. Bones's Wild Ride" ends if some other currency/means of settlement (like the yuan or global drawing rights) replaces the dollar entirely (which has already started to happen: the dollar is not nearly as large of a percentage of global reserves as it used to be). It would be an economic cataclysm for the whole country (from which we may never recover), but it would also largely be the end of globohomo.

My super rough eyeballing of things has it ballparked in the $200M to $2B range. '92 LA riots were $1B, and while no one city has been hit as hard as then, pretty much every major city is having a massive shitfit.

You keep thinking people have a sociopathic lack of empathy like yourself all you want. Death is not the prescription for being out after state enforced curfew and the annoying BLM backlash will double itself 4 times over if a black man is shot. Floyd even had a record but that didn't matter.

How many of the rioters even know what a mechanical keyboard is? Ducky's HQ isn't even in the US. It's in Taiwan.
