So the Birmingham govt is now taking down the Confederate Soldiers and Sailors Monument those kids where trying to pull down last night in their orgy of destruction.

It wasn't some monument glorifying a Confederate General, or something built in the 60s to piss off civil rights people.



It was a monument to ordinary soldiers who died, dedicated while many veterans still lived.

It's better for them to be taken down, and put somewhere safe than to have them destroyed at the hands of rioters. We've already lost enough pieces of history because of this shitshow. We don't need to lose anymore.
