If the Cuomo thing is true, it very likely would be BECAUSE of Trump's threat. Its a No-Win scenario, since the ultimatum was "I'd pull them in, only if you fail", so Trump merely has to blast that message and everyone involved goes down in a fireball with him.

It made me realize that white liberals in fact hate black people viscerally, as they "stand in solidarity" with their towns being burned to the ground, their livelihoods ruined, their jobs destroyed, their food supplies shocked, and any legitimate movement they have being hijacked by rioters that'll make it impossible for them to be viewed as anything other than an angry mob further despised by people that will probably never have to come in contact with them as they watch specifically these cities burn from the safety of their own homes.

They're in fact worse than honest-to-God racists literally because they're not honest, and whether they infantilize you or tokenize you, they're treating you in a different way than they would treat one of their own. They're treating you as lesser.

It just doesn't take the form of spitting in your face and calling you a dictionary of slurs. Doesn't mean that they don't expect you to be less than human.

There's no such thing as an impartial jury, and even if their were, you won't find one after this. Juries are humans, not computers. Even if you find a bunch of totally impartial people uninfluenced by things like BLM you'll also have to assume they're not a bunch of people out of cop families. That's why if they were even pretending the riots were still about George it'd be ridiculous. As soon as he was fired and arrested and bound for trial, the rest is a foregone conclusion. This guy's reckless and excessively forceful treatment of suspects and criminals finally caught up to him.

We need the US military to intervene at this point. This needs to stop. Local governments have failed, so it's time for the federal government to come in and clean up their mess.

Yeah, protests started near ETSU last night.
I was taking care of a friend who had a cardiac procedure yesterday the next town down the road from there and all we heard was sirens all night.
Supposedly that was peaceful.

Not taking any chances tonight, friend can come stay with us.
