I can't really tell. Either way, if these were White People I often wonder what the reaction would be. However not only are they not, it wasn't a protestor, it wasn't a thug, it was a random black guy in his car, that was targeted by Browns fearing for their neighborhood based on his skin color. They were both driven to this point. This shouldn't have ever happened. The Media elites should be skinned alive for this, and every leftist pig that is causing this.

Cuomo maybe, De Blasio absolutely not. Fucking everyone hates him, except for the people who share in his grift, and they'll be more than happy to throw him to the wolves if there's an advantage to it.

I strongly suspect Cuomo is giving De Blasio just enough rope to hang himself, and that after something big and horrible happens (say, Saint Patrick's Cathedral getting torched), he's going to suspend him and come in on a National Guard white horse.

Nintendo clearly has an apolitical policy. It's always, always, ALWAYS better business to stay quiet than to take a side, and alienate customers. The Resetera maniacs that get mad at your inaction is peanuts compared to the millions who look to you for baggage-free escapism.

Having said that there's nothing wrong with Pokemon's benign record on this stuff. It's dog-whistling in its purest form, people can infer whatever they want from the gifs. Problem is when you take the Sony route. I haven't seen ANY other company be as chauvinistic and condescending in their shows of support. It's bizarre they don't realise how this can very easily blow up in their face. At least Microsoft has the tact to frame it as letting their black employees share their truth etc.

Unrelated but I'm listening to NYPD comms and a few of them sarcastically started going "Where's de Blasio"
