I’ve noticed on official FB pages encouraging people to donate for rio-, er, “peaceful protestor” bail funds the comments sections are increasingly turning on [Brand] and starting to, well, riot. Ironically, the supporters call on the dissenters to be... banned to restore order.

I have to say, hart-cellar was passed in 1965 and since then, we have a shitload of immigrants come in and they slowly learned about getting enriched by our imprisoned dindu nuffin scholars as white flight was in vogue back then.

As for how this affect Trump's chances, we might see where people will vote Trump for president and go all blue down ballot. Or vote in Republicans that were considered democrats in the 80s and 90s with Trump being president. I can't conceive of a scenario where Biden wins while GOP wins the house. If GOP wins the house guarantees a Trump win.

I dunno. I never heard about that. They've been extremely successful under the Academi brand and I don't know why they'd go back to Blackwater with the baggage that name carries.
 
Here's the thing about the riots: they are ultimately contained to Democrat controlled areas. The rest of America is peaceful and fine.

I'm calling it now, as soon as one of those pipebombs goes off is when Trump triggers the Insurrection Act.

The Federal Government's hands are dubiously tied with how federalism works. He has arguments to invoke the Act, but they would be treading new and dangerous constiutional ground. Trump, for all the claims he is a fascist, infact has shown remarkable restraint with the constitution and hasn't shown traits of being entirely self-defeating like the democrats were with things like the filibuster.

If he invokes the Insurrection Act now, it WILL come back to bite.

But.

If a pipebomb goes off, that is a whole 'nother thing. Now we have VERY illegal weapons in use, a clear-to-the-public terrorist activity under cover of the protests, and public support would massively swing towards reigning it in. No precedent is set that will be ultimately deleterious.

Newsflash to the wanna-be medics who think they're running around on Omaha with a pack of field bandages: Being a medic doesn't mean jack shit if you're not in the military, or a first responder. Infact you're misusing the symbolism. In addition, why would "peaceful" protesters need medics anyway? If they were tripping and scraping their knee, some yuppy asshole with a fanny pack [fagbag] full of band-aids could fix that.

Blackwater at least pays lip service to the rule of war, and very prominently shows its insignia so as to provide them some defense against the international courts. Hell, many members of the organization take pride in being members.

I'm more inclined to believe they are a private militia. Claiming to be part of a specific federal office is a crime, but they are keeping it vague enough to not actually be prosecutable.

What if they're just actual pipe swingers like Delta, some other special forces group, or an elite SWAT type group in federal law enforcement?
