I imagine Toy Story 4's probably not a bad film to criticize, it's unnecessary, it's apparently the weakest in the series and all that. But Christ from the little bit I've listened to live they aren't even fucking criticizing the fucking film right now (although they probably will in about five hours I'm sure.) They're just going on about how they don't understand the rules of sentience and death in Toy Story, I suppose the rules can be a bit flexible, but I don't think they're so flexible that they fuck up the stories in those movies. Just fucking criticize the damn movie itself, don't be like that fucking Armored Skeptic video where they just go "lol toy story universe's is so fucked up, lol" for half the damn thing.

I have been sifting through the MauLer subreddit to try and see if their is a consensus on Rags and what I found is there are 2 camps when it comes to Rags

Camp 1 is the 'Rag'''''''''s is a good boi he do no rong lmao owo' Which I think speaks for itself.

Camp 2 has hated Rags for a while and were only emboldened by the ATLA debacle. They are of the opinion that rags is dragging the podcast down (Episode 69 is often mentioned as well as Rags general attitude to guests) and actively hampering MauLer's own content as well.

I have to go with the former for the most part, as his monthly earnings (According to Graphtreon | Archive) have been slowly but surely going down, likely due to his sporadic uploads in the past year and a half going on two. However, it seems that if he continues with his drama at EFAP, we could expect that to spiral down even more.

And just look at this, at its peak, he was making almost $2000 a month, which isn't bad if you live in Arkansas, so I imagine Rags would be freaking out if not for EFAP due to the steady decline.

It seems Rags' decline is because of EFAP, which started in 2018. He's pretty much abandoned his channel for the podcast, so his patrons are leaving him.

It also doesn't help that he doesn't really offer anything for his patrons except for Discord perks (and I presume that the Discord as dead as his channel?) and I think he only added those perks last year. Before that, it was always just a donation pool for his videos.

They're the people who pretend nothing is wrong with their daddy Rag's's blatant hypocrisy, and usually say "why do you care about this so much lol", when this a podcast that's all about autistically analyzing some retard's videos on Star Wars or whatever for upwards of 12 hours.

Camp 2 are really the only sane ones in this whole debacle. Shame that they're the ones who are pretty much being ignored by MauLer and other EFAP people, who still thinks people are only mad because Rags didn't like A:TLA, completely ignoring Rags' past behavior and hypocrisy. EFAP is genuinely much more fun to watch when Rags isn't around, maybe one day EFAP will be furfag free.

Another thing to note is in MauLer's discord recently, Rags doubled down on the whole "you don't need to watch a full movie/show to call it nothing but bad", along with his kiss ass friend SouthPaw. This almost certainly will never be addressed on EFAP either.

I recently discovered EFAP and have been listening to it a lot as background noise in my quarantine boredom the last week or two, and let's just say I'm not super surprised to find out Rags is a degenerate furry with a thread here. He's taking notes from Spoony I see. Rags lost 200 dollars since his shit Avatar take. Even MauLer's Patreon has lost a lot of money, it was at 1,900 in February, now it's at 1,600. I get that Patreon donations can fluctuate, but that's the biggest drop I've seen looking at his Graphtreon. He really shouldn't have committed to doing a damn six part series on TFA, I get that he wants to be in-depth, but there is such a thing as way too fucking long. There's also the fact that most people stopped caring about TFA forever ago, and the sequels as a whole since they're over with. It's kinda repetitive to keep responding to the same generic dime a dozen consoomers all the time on EFAP, people were already getting sick of the constant Star Wars stuff not long after EFAP started up.

I think both Rags and MauLer really need to focus more on their own channels, it feels like they pulled what other YouTubers did (H3H3 for example), and decided to focus on a podcast over the content that 95% of the people that subbed to them actually want, and of course they'll be completely blindsided and confused when their e-careers go into the shitter. I do worry for the future of EFAP, It's like they peaked already, and we're now gonna see the decline, Rags being one of the main causes of this.

Rags and MauLer recognize they're going to get paid regardless of the amount of videos they put out, so they don't see a point in focusing on their channels. Even with the big drops in donations, they still receive a pretty sizable income for doing nothing productive. Only continued loss of revenue will force them to start making videos again, but that depends on how fed up their fanbases get - a lot of them are too blindly loyal. Even Spoony still makes $351 a month from his Patreon.

I don't understand his thought process at all, how does he plan on squeezing out 15 parts on a 135 minute film? How autistic do you have to be to even want to do that, and who in their right mind would watch all of it outside of listening to it as background audio? They really plan on milking this SW cash cow until it's long been dead (which it already is).

I'm calling it, 2020 is the year EFAP will start declining, and when we'll see more and more detractors pop up. I feel the whole Rags Avatar incident caused a lot of fans to wake up and see the bullshit. It made me go ahead and read through the Mauler thread here, and God my respect for him sank like a brick in the ocean after it. Crazy how I used to see these guys as the best critics around, now I can't take them seriously once I actually bothered to listen to what they've been saying. I'm just gonna stick around and see how badly this will crash and burn. Hopefully it'll be fun, especially the aftermath where they'll be forced back into actually making videos, and will no doubt have to shake up the formula a bit by then to keep the viewers around, or risk dying off. I see Rags being the first one to die off easily.

Keep in mind that MauLer has already written the script for the series. At the very least, he could record himself reading the script and then hire a video editor to create the visual footage for his narration. But I don't see MauLer doing that because it would cost money, even if it could help him in the long run by honoring his donors' requests and keeping them as patrons.

Rags didn't put effort into his videos to begin with, so he has no excuse to be neglecting his channel. His videos have been in the same style as EFAP before EFAP became a thing where all he had to do was play a clip, pause it, and add unscripted commentary. The only difference was the inclusion of his dog avatar. If he can't be bothered to make new videos because it's too much effort to include his dog avatar with his commentary, that's a new level of laziness.

It wasn't until Wolf's departure that I noticed just how insufferable Rags gets to be at times. EFAP is already very one-note without Wolf constantly getting into small arguments with Rags over his takes and other trivial shit, but Rags' long and drawn-out rambling without a foil is why I don't really bother with the podcast anymore beyond having it as background noise.
