The longer this shit goes on, the stronger my believe grows that black US communities, as they are now, are simply not compatible with the US majority society.
It feels like there are only two ways of life: as part of the majority society, conforming to its norms and morals, essentially living as part of it and on the other end, we have subset of black culture that seems to treat anything that tries to conform as undesirable. Of course, there are many black people that try to conform and be part of the majority society, but they are considered "sellouts to whitey". When trying to make the most of your basic education is seen as selling out and being a traitor to your race, no wonder an entire race goes down the shitter.
It's a self-propagating downward spiral, there is distrust, a strong sense of "us vs. them" and of course poverty... and all this leads to seclusion, more distrust, more poverty, cause anything that could help breaking people out of this system leads to accusations of being a traitor. Instead of trying to be a part of the majority society, they try to be apart of society. Gang violence, drug abuse, crime, single-mom households, all this creates the foundation for more gang violence, more drug abuse, more crime and more single-mom households.
They don't want to fit into society, they want society to just "accept them as they are" while they do not accept society as it is.
Parts of the black community, backed by liberals, have glorified this nonsense as black culture and identity and fans the flames of distrust and further seclusion.
So I stand here and I wonder: How is this supposed to come to an end? What demands would these people have and how are they supposed to be met?
"We want justice" or "we want equality" are just buzzwords, what has to be changed specifically and how is this going to end the problems in black communities?
I jokingly said the US should just pay reparations and watch Jamal and Huakeem blow that all on purple drank, but to be honest: Nothing that could be said and done will ever do anything as long as black communities refuse to address stuff like gang violence, broken households of single-moms or the blatant anti-education attitude of ghetto districts.
This doesn't apply to all blacks, it might not even apply to half of them, but it applies to enough to cause issues, that will not be revolved with a bit of senstivity training for cops to cuddle up to violent thugs that resist arrest.
