I do legit think he is afraid, even if he has no basis for that fear (I mean he is an idiot so unfounded fear is sort of his thing).

This little rant on having trouble sleeping is followed directly by explaining away all the racist shit he said "it was the wild west etc. etc. *lawnmower noise*". It sounds to me like he's worried Tevin is going to rat him out to his family.

Those videos are lucky if they're making Phil $1 these days. I keep waiting for Phil to finally pull the plug on Youtube because it's not worth his time. I know he realizes that a lot of his paypigs are reliving Phil's """quality""" Youtube days from the early 10s, but still, he's better off just begging during the time he wastes uploading.

By his own admission he doesn't actually babysit them either, he sometimes goes to get fast food or whatever while they are uploading. So it's probably 15 minutes of thinking up clickbait titles, pressing "upload", then going back to gin and avoiding his rented horse.

So it's 15 minutes/day * 6 days/week * 52 weeks/year = 78 hours/year for about $384/hour using the $30,000/year figure. Even by his estimate of YT earnings in the 341 hearing (I can't recall the number but I think he estimated it at about $500/month or $6,000/year) that's $76/hour. Even if you really deflate the Twitch hours and subtract out the prestreams, begging segments, and breaks to masturbate to oily wrasslin gifs use the restroom that's a better rate than his actual streams.

It's also a more convenient 'archive' than Twitch in ways other than financial. Twitch has the nasty habit of retaining the chat archive along with the video - something Phil often wants stricken from the record. Not only does a chat archive allow people to easily see what prompted ThinSkinnedPhil to ban people, or which of his mods were furry-rape-roleplaying in the chat, even when they weren't watching live, Phil often uses his chat to be himself - and do things like call people asking a legitimate question 'autistic fucks', or state iJustine was in a gangbang. If these things weren't immediately deleted, they could be mass reported.

Which is the second point, Phil has said several times following his ban that Twitch told him they don't look at/don't like third party sources when considering ban reports. Phil removing his archives as fast as possible from Twitch is in his best interest because it's another layer of protection, if only slight, if someone from Twitch finally decides he has done something too scummy. YT provides an easy cover for this bitch maneuver because his videos 'aren't supposed to be up on two platforms'. He clearly still believes this, because he'll often leave stuff up for a while, often until the YT videos are up... but when he has said something risky in chat or given a hot take (several times recently), the Twitch archive is gone as fast as humanly possible after he cuts the stream.

In conclusion, he shits on YT for allowing drama and harassment, and then continues to post his videos there because they pay him and shelter his content when it strays into drama or harassment.
