I think it's easier for bad cops to be noticed than good cops.

Good cops cause barely any noise and prevent situations from escalating. There are a few opportunities to do the cliche hero cop thing where they stop a robbery.

Bad cops have infinite chances to do something notable and visible, and it'll be spread wider than anything a good cop does because of media bias.

What do you expect the good cops to do? Kill the bad cops? Leave until there's only bad cops left?

I can agree with reform of the police department and more accountability, but I'm not an expert in policing, so I have no idea what shape those reforms would have to take to be effective.

People are here, and not on /pol/ not because they love blacks and fetishize them, but because maybe they don't see the point in being a racist. Don't get me wrong there are racists in here, but that's their prerogative.

Most cops are good you dumb ass, the media just reports on the bad ones. If you actually cared about change and wanted to know both sides of the story, you'd get to know some of your local police officers,. But it's fine, you understand the world through twitter.

For the people so confused about massive public support for this, from people online, your coworkers, friends, family, etc.:
How much mass media do you consume? How many hollywood movies, netflix films, top selling records, televised newscasts, etc. do you consume?
If you were slightly aware of what the masses consume, then nothing happening the past week should be confused to you.

Something I'm curious about. I'm seeing a lot of people talk about BLM protests in other countries, but how many are actually BLM. Somebody mention two or three hundred pages ago that the protests in Japan weren't related to BLM but had to do with an unrelated local issue. I wonder how much international solidarity there really is.

Most of the looting is happening near black-centric areas.
Like, I'm not even joking, the second the black ghetto stops and the hispanic ghetto starts is where the looting magically stops.
Like the shoe place and pawn shop got looted (pawn shop got guns so theyre safeish), but it literally stopped right next to the taco shop.

And then continued again next to the smoke shop in front of some black methodist church a couple of buildings over.

Or they are silencing and covering up the members of the public that don't support these riots.
