Did the internet turn everyone into fucking sociopaths and psychopaths? Children are just props. Fellow humans are just props. Everyone wants everyone else to submit to them. Everyone wants to be special just for being themselves without putting in any work.

Nobody seems to understand what it takes to keep civilization running or even build a civilization.

Nobody seems to understand how important cooperation is.

Everyone just wants to be seen as better than everyone else and they'll use anything they have to to do it.

No more buying a car or new TV to keep up with the Jones'es, now everyone has to gain more oppression points and villainize other people to get ahead of the Joneses.

If votes didn't matter they wouldn't bother gerrymandering or committing vote fraud. So apparently it must work at some level. If it didn't none of the politicians would give a shit about spending millions hiring thecast of Avengers to tell you not voting for Trump is the most important thing you'll ever do.
