In the grand scheme if things, just how widespread is rioting in the USA? I do not live in America, so I'm trying to get a sense of perspective on this.
It is not that widespread, the main sources of video you see are coming from the cities. And they are generally the only videos you are seeing since nobody gives a fuck about the actual peaceful protests which are the majority.

This isn't nearly as big as it seems.

Follow-up on Last Couple Days
(archive)
On the night of May 30-May 31,
"One of the suspects accused of rioting allegedly lit a mannequin on fire and put it inside a patrol car to set it on fire.
...
Another suspect was captured in photos and on video jumping on a Wyoming [a Grand Rapids suburb] police car, climbing inside then ramming a stop sign through the windshield"

The asian doofus was hissing at the bystanders and acting hostile while making space for 9 minutes to ensure Derek Chauvin completed the painfully unnecessary process of kneeling on Floyd's neck all the fucking way, all while they were begging him just to take his fucking knee off.

He reminds me of one of those bureaucratic cock suckers that get in your way just to please their precious overlords.

Fuck this guy.

calling back to something from waaaaay back in the thread, anyone have that 2016 electoral map of the US with the cities being rioted circled? iirc it was from like, day 4 so only a few cities were being wrecked then. I wonder if there's a single red district getting wrecked yet...

So happy to see we reached the page. In commemoration of this, I have something entirely, completely unrelated to any of the events going on.

This is in no way related to what is happening. At all.

Onward to 1500, 2000 and beyond! BYAAAH!

Vietnam was a shitshow though and one of the reasons America is in the state it is now.

That's the trouble with politics is sometimes the right answer is from the other side, blanket left/right positions on everything is always going to wind up getting you burned because reality does not fit into a simple binary.

She was coached to overreact. They tried to provoke a reaction from the cop, then when the balloon popped they tried to act like it hit her eye (when the video clearly shows it didn't).

This is the biggest reason I think people who bring their children to protests should be arrested and charged with child abuse. They're exposing kids to legitimate potential risk by having them present at all, and then they use them as pawns to try to make the other side look bad.

you're literally no better than this family when you bring a child to a protest where you genuinely believe the cops are going to use police brutality against you

To follow up on my last post, the medical evidence of George Floyd's autopsy tells me that I can be pretty sure he did not die of police brutality, he died from being high and his body shitting the bed on him, the doing so while restrained was entirely coincidental.

A bunch of lawless scum tore the United States apart, stole whatever they could, and have been maiming and killing people over what amounted to police brutality allegations that don't match actual forensic evidence.

I'm more depressed about that than angry to be honest.

Guys, you can't arrest someone if they're hyperventilating:

There is no such thing as "actively passing out". It is a passive process. And it's either happening and or it isn't. And looks like it isn't.

How exceptional; to be too fragile to deal with any foreseeable consequences... what a way to see the world.

Sure, but Communism is bad and needs to be eradicated in all forms. With extreme prejudice.
