You don't kneel on people's necks, you really don't kneel on people's necks for that long, Floyd was obviously in medical distress, and the cop was clearly flexing because people were telling him to stop. Chauvin doesn't have to be innocent for the riots to be bullshit. We don't need to bend over backwards to excuse what is obviously an abuse of power.

In a normal situation they wouldn't be able to make anything besides police brutality stick.

All I seem to see true crime wise these days are spree shooters and maybe the sickfuck who locked a woman he kidnapped in his basement to use as a sex slave here or there.

A few inner neighborhoods and civic centers in a couple dozen or so bigger cities are experiencing (or have experienced) mild to severe rioting, the rest of the nation is normal no matter how bad it seems on the news.

I live about 30 miles away from Houston, one of the ten largest cities in America and where George Floyd was from before he went to Minneapolis and where his funeral is being held. My city population is over 50k and has similar demographics to Houston.

Wouldn't have any idea this was happening if it weren't for this website. I don't watch TV and I've heard nothing about it unprompted from my daily interactions with my diverse fellow citizens and coworkers, the few times I've asked people what they think the answer has been that big city dwellers are retards.

My city's considered a smaller big city to the point it has sportsball teams and despite the curfew (which some council members are protesting) there has been little to no riot activity here. It mostly seems like a megacity problem. Still even during the Obama administration things weren't this unstable, who knows how things will be in megacities in a few years.
