I said it way back in the thread, but I think it was less of a case of regular police brutality and more like a 'true crime' situation. I think Chauvin had beef with Floyd and just used the arrest as an opportunity to do what he wanted to do anyway (kill the guy) but in a way that he thought would give him plausible deniability. I think months or years from now, the official story could be very different from what most people think it is right now.

Police have unions in every city. Some are probably corrupt as shit. But how do you get to "the entire force is involved with money laundering and this was an assassination" when you have no evidence to support the claim? Yeah, but many liberal commentators have applauded the looting as righteous and just.
