It's turned the entire game to shit. I'd have given up on it years ago if it wasn't the only way I have to keep in touch with some old friends on a regular basis.

Hatred will never completely die, but what stokes it is returning hate and madness with more of the same instead of civility and decency. It's unrealistic to put the fires of hate out completely, but you can reduce the blaze to mere embers if you really want to.

"It's just their culture" in regards to these events and incidents, assuming they're all true because it is a reddit story but for the sake argument I'll assume it is true, is one of the most racist things I've heard from someone that doesn't just scream about killing niggas and deporting them back to Africa.

How can a black person with a PhD actually sit there and scream about culture like every black person is just a dumb gangster thug that will break shit, steal shit, and threaten assault on a teacher over being failures. How can you represent the benefit of black people, this principle's people in fact, allow this and then just ignore it because "culture". What an absolute farce and an insult, this school deserves to fail. Lets not even bother wasting money on it and just throw these kids into the streets if this is all we're going to do. They can get hooked on drugs, get stabbed, get shot, and go to prison every few years on rotation because fuck it who really cares anymore?

My lily-white dad was a security guard for one of the inner city black schools in the nearest city. This was during the 90's, mind you, so everything hadn't gone to hell quite yet, and the school also had the bonus of the VP Mr. Jefferson, who was a man who'd grown up in the ghetto and had clawed his way out. Mr. Jefferson had no tolerance for stupid ghetto shit. Mr. Jefferson was a badass.

Now, there were plenty of nice kids who were friendly with my dad because again, this was the 90's, before everything went to absolute hell. But for every nice kid, there were ghetto-ass gangbangers in the making determined to make everyone's life hell. He's told me of the time when he had to talk down a crazy-ass pothead from knifing everyone in his classroom with a 12-inch blade, and the time that he and Mr. Jefferson had to wrestle a gun out of a kid's backpack. Also the multitude of fights he had to break up.

He said that while he didn't hate his job there, he certainly wouldn't do it again, especially not in Current Year when the ghettos and race relations have gotten exponentially worse.
