Man, at least the anti-Apartheid movement was fighting against an actual, horrendously, institutionally racist government. Sure it was crawling with commies, pinkos and pan-African marxists like any other movement in Southern Africa at the time (though Mandela definitely reformed himself whilst in prison and came to reject radical leftism/black nationalism in the end) but damn the National Party sure wasn't doing a good job of justifying itself. Pretty telling that a majority of white South Africans voted to just shoot that old horse in the end during the '92 referendum.

Helps that said movement also spawned a lot of extraordinary music. 'Biko' in particular continues to be very moving... or maybe just because it's Peter Gabriel.

Not to PowerLevel but yes my people are finally waking up. We all have to do 1 year mandatory Military Service, if these migrants want the benefits of our system then they must also serve. Those who would be ineligible for service are very rarely people who contribute to our society so we don't need them. We are still very Liberal when it comes to accepting LEGITIMATE refugees but our system is getting a lot better at rooting out Economic Migrants. The policy changes you are describing are a major step in the right direction but the general ignorance of Danish people towards integration is still sad. Many of my family still don't see why the Turks creating a segregated society is a bad thing but with how things are going in the Netherlands/Germany I think many of them are coming around.

Muslims are the most racist I've met, they hate blacks, hispanics, whites and especially jews, they believe every other race is inherently "dirty", not even getting into how much they hate LGBT and even women

apartheid was good. even their idea of creating autonomous bantustans for the different ethnic groups down there was good in principle.
the only really bad thing about apartheid was how much it isolated SA from the rest of the world.
