The 2010's (and 2020) is like a decade where everything got extremely sanitized and bland in pop culture while also simultaneously degenerate in more subtle ways, and it's all across the board. Not just with mainstream entertainment, but also niche media like genre books and tabletop games, and even goddamn porn, which is more jarring than ever.
