I find non-political content creators rarely have the same issues like this its mostly ego related and the political angle creates a more extreme and zealous response which often lead to trashfires.

my armchair opinion on this private conversation is it sounds more like anhedonia or disassociation, which are common symptoms with stress and depression. I'm assuming being persona non grata in the modern world sucks and takes a toll. but I'd take that any day over Ralph's health. simple talk therapy won't sort out heart disease in your 30's and he'll never not be a drug addict.

It's his only choice. Think about it in this sense.

He has no skillsets
He has no real degree
His entire brand has utterly ruined his prospects to be an "alt lite" zceleb gossip channel
He is too out of shape and too much of a liability to ever be considered for even a Day Labor Job.

He has detractors and alogs who would fuck with him if he got a job(briefly)
