I think another big aspect of this is that for most whites, there is no room for improvement. for many of those currently in their 40s and up, they probably are in a better situation now then they were born in, appreciating what they have. those in their 30s and 20s are basically where they started, and its not like any of them can join the 1% at this point without a miracle, so they lose happiness and purpose in this aspect as well.

To Christians, God created civilization for the benefit of Man and to His glory; the good things on Earth exist to point us toward His perfection. To increase civilization is to participate in divine work.
