Another thing to consider is staying online is bad for your mental health. Just do something outside and if you live in states in which places that have reopened, hang out with your friends. Be firm if your friends want you on social media. Tell them that it makes people fucking weird and you don’t want to lose them to strangers that you will never meet.

Well yeah. I have been thinking about this for a decade now. There is a serious lack of purpose to life nowadays. There are also lack of new frontiers. Just as an aside I was listening to an antifa podcast by that Robert Evans guy who was talked about in this thread earlier. He did/does a show called "it could happen here" about the left perspective on a hypothetical civil war. He did a whole episode on "the good side of the second american civil war". It more or less came down to the idea that it would give people purpose.
