if you read contemporary writing from 1933/34, the years immediately after hitler taking power, it's all full of people desperately trying to appeal to the new guys in charge in a terrified attempt to avoid drawing any negative attention because drawing negative attention means you get a visit from the SA, under orders from the local party officials to either dissolve or take over your organisation.
one example is documented here (if you understand german)
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heidelberger_Spargelessen
tl;dr some student fraternity caused a minor public incident: a bunch of fratboys started acting loud and rude in a public tavern while a hitler speech was being broadcast on the radio, including making crude anti hitler jokes.
the immediate result was that their fraternity was dissolved by authorities and a bunch of students were expelled from university. but the interesting part is this press release by a different fraternity regarding the events:
rough and short translation:
"while we singers [members of our fraternity] have donned the brown shirts and are working hard in service to the nation and the people, those decadent corps guys [members of the disgraced fraternity] are having drunk and lecherous parties. while we singers are out in the borderlands contributing to overcoming the divide between the people and the student body, those degenerate corps guys drunkenly roll through the streets and disturb the speeches of our Führer that are holy to every german!"
basically they went out of their way to say "look at what good and dedicated nazis we are! we totally hate those mean other guys who dared disrespect our great Führer! they are all dumb and mean but we are good and obedient and absolutely not like them!"
didn't work out for them of course, eventually all student fraternities got dismantled and absorbed into the party-owned national socialist student association.
my point is, this response by that other fraternity shows the exact same kind of desperate and terrified suck-up behavior that we are now seeing in response to BLM across social media
