I know lots of people have been making Planet of the Apes jokes and memes, but...you know something? One of the later shitty Planet of the Apes movies, like...Battle for the Planet of the Apes, I think, is set way before the first one but after the one where Earth falls, so Apes and Men are living in sort of side-by-side harmony because they're trying to avoid the circumstances that created the conditions in the 1st and 2nd films.

In one village there's this big to-do that happens because a human teacher said something to an ape in one of his classes. He told him no, and apparently that's a cardinal sin. You can't tell an ape no, because in the...IDK, 3rd film? that was a hateful word used to chastise apes.

I'm not comparing all blacks to apes, but I feel like that's the "Planet of the Apes" scenario we're headed towards. You can't tell a black person no if they freak out, riot, or whatever. It'll become the new "n-word". In a way, it already has.
