U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

The correct, ethical response is not to to nothing - it's to refuse to shoot the individual or the mercenaries BUT ALSO to tweet about how it's not your fault and actually you're a really, good person and miss me with that hate while the village is slaughtered around and before you.
Unless you're a white man.
In which case shoot yourself because white and male privilege means your life is a blight upon society.

Then you didn't get too deep. No Kant and other ivory tower faggots or anything like that?

They start with "Don't perform shit like the Standford Experiment on unknowing, uninformed people" and then get to the Trolley Question, then the Warlord Question, and then further and further. In the end it's "As long as you don't do it, your ENTIRE FUCKING CAUSE is just and cannot be blamed for the actions of a single individual who went against the ethics and morals of the group."

I just gritted my teeth and got my C and walked out.

Of course, the last two times I was in college they made Gender Studies and Women's Studies mandatory and those classes have gone from "Psychologically, women are able to recover faster from psychological trauma if given proper supporting structures but suffer more intense psychological damage" stuff to "WOMEN GOOD MAD BAD REEEEEEE!" shit.
My favorite one is where they try and act like forcibly being hooked up to a comatose person is the same as getting pregnant.

What a fucking way to try and argue your point. You can see it in the way these idiots riot over shit: their thought processes and analogies are equally if not more retarded.

How fucking ironic

The last of cucks 2

I dig occult shit for funsie-wunsies and read a lot of books about it as a kid, so sue me.
  • The curse thing is supposed to be that it hits you three times harder if you miss but this got turned into "UwU don't curse people" by people who believe magic is real but still want societal approval and to be seen as a nice person. It totally ignores the fact that if magic were real, using it would be an inherently manipulative fact (something acknowledge by old-school occultists)
  • A lot of wiccans are LARPers and those that aren't are to be avoided
  • Most of the "witches of tiktok" are teenage girls looking to LARP, who appreciate the aesthetic, and/or are seeking some form of power during puberty (standard teenage girl stuff)
  • Beyond the internet there has actually been an increase in weird spirituality, at least among women and at least in the US. I noticed it a few years back and it seems to be accelerating. I'm not sure what's causing it though.
The increase in spirituality is 100% from the left's outright proclamation that any non-Islam Abrahamic religions are inherently evil. Guess what, shitwads? When you strip away such a critical part of the human psyche, the need doesn't go away. It just goes somewhere else to be fulfiled. Look at the I Fucking Love Science faggots, the morons that live only to CONSOOM, the Militant LGBTP, or the followers of The Progressive Stack. Each and every one of them has used those traits to replace the gaping hole that a time-tested religion would usually fulfill. This is not to say that there's nothing inherently wrong with atheism, but in the USA there's a reason we haven't had an atheist president at all and why people in the '60s flipped their shit when the Catholic JFK got elected.

Well, their defintion of ethical is basically never accepting blame or responsibility for the world around them.

Strap on Gender Study's "Original Sin" and "Minority Studies" same and you've got where we are now.
Does anyone actually think letting everybody die is the best answer? Did you see any simps agreeing with that?

... so there a lot of people without an identity/faith void who are trying to fill it with something ...

I edited and added emphasis, because I think part of the problem is what JBP described (IIRC) as "a societal loss of a metaphysical center", which had Gens Y and Z turning to rabid SocJus and related shit, to give them a sense of purpose that religion, family and community previously offered.

I'll say what I said in my college ethics class: Kant is a cunt.

That class actually made me less of an ethical person because it was filled with stupid shit like eco-feminism. Also, a professor that unironically thought the means of production should belong to the workers. Really, that class opened my eyes and made me stop being a liberal.
Just say every ethics philospher was some retarded armchair idealist that never tried their shit irl.
Bound to piss someone off.

Makes me glad that while I attended college in a large city, it was in a red state so super progressive curriculum hasn't permeated into it as much. Women/gender studies were not mandatory but I thought about taking it for a chuckle but I would just have walked out too. I didn't take ethics, but I had a philosophy class with a professor who taught it. Super cool old guy, more on the conservative side. Funnily the only person we had that got offended by him was a Christian student.

"You can't win, you can't break even, you can't even get outta the game." ICBATG

Does anybody remember when double binds were considered a fundamental abuse --- psychological torture/manipulation, brainwashing, and at one point the cause of schizophrenia? Pepperridge Farms remembers.

Pretty much everything they do is the exact sort of manipulation and abuse you see in cults and relationships with Cluster B individuals. It's like dealing with somebody with BPD, on a societal level.

It's incomprehensible to them that people can be economically liberal while also being socially conservative or vice-versa. I mean I don't give a shit if two gay people want to get married, I fact I think it's unfair if they can't, but I also think that there's no excuse for setting fire to businesses and looting shops because you can't express yourself like a human being.

There are no shades of grey to these guys because they're not taught to see them.

What I find ironic is most of the people who support no shades of gray take "Classical Republicanism" to a retarded extreme. The Sane CR is all "everyone has a responsibility to society" but realize you can't force everyone to be that way. The retards want to force everyone to be responsible for the ills of society, even if they have to harass, threaten, and humiliate you into it.

As cucked as it seems now, eventually the Left wing will have to pivot towards policy that people will vote for. There has been extreme backlash in Aus towards the copycat protests (about Aboriginal deaths in custody) because of coronachan and people are considered cunts for attending, even in moderate left wing circles.

Aboriginals are at such great risk of dying from the illness that whitey was prohibited from going onto their land at all during the lockdown period. If there is an outbreak due to the protests, their entire argument is fucking done.
Especially as Australia has (probably by dint of being a low-density, high-wealth country) managed to truck through this crisis relatively well. The biggest counterpoint is that, when the lockdown was just about to begin, ScoMo stated on the Friday before that lockdowns would start on Monday. People are trying to say this meant he wanted to attend a supermassive church thing, or that he wanted to watch a footy game with his favourite team - when the simpler explanation is that he just wanted a grace period so companies could prepare over the weekend, and Monday is a good starting point.

The other argument is that a protest about the coronavirus itself went through without issue but this one didn't. Which holds a little more water, but I think the unspoken part here is 'the counterparts of these protests in America have gotten really bad, and with small attendance, people will be held more accountable for the mob's actions'. But it's way easier to say 'the coronavirus' than to say 'we think the BLM people are thugs'.
