It comes with age IMO. After a while you realize when the world has a chance to completely burn down around you it doesn’t. It gets a bit boring and any type of activity starts to make life bearable. Very little that you see in the news every really affects you in a real, noticeable way. I think most of us have moments of MOTI still but it passes quickly. Like the “news” Trump will resign. It’s doubtful because it would be far too interesting to happen. And if it did how much would it really affect me? So sit back and hope for some chaos, because it’s rare.
