I had once again a very retarded conversation with someone who should know better:

Yes, when they like it, it's CNN. When they don't it's all propaganda. Then why don't we abolish courts then? we can all look at short videos and vote and then execute people or not. Who cares about expert reports and the circumstances.

Reuters (search for "reuters washington move to rein in police") says

"A federal judge in Denver ordered city police to stop using tear gas, plastic bullets and other “less-than-lethal” devices such as flash grenades, with his ruling citing examples of protesters and journalists being injured by police."

I really hope this is not true. Because the logical conclusion is that the police now can only either shoot or ask politely people to move.

And oh dear looters were injured by the police? How awful. They should go to a nice "complicated" football (soccer) game to see what happens if the police just gently tut-tuts and at the most glares at short-haired supporters, they would learn quickly the police can't just be "nice", sometimes people get injured.

If they have really been ordered to use either lethal devices or nothing it will be fun and instructive to see what happens when the police have to defend themselves.

I think it's a good sign for trump that they are pushing this shit so hard. It's painfully obvious now that the democrat politicians and the media sympathetic to them never believed this virus was any kind of real threat, which tells you they were risking the economic impact of the lockdown hoping it would hurt trump more than them. I think this probably means their internal polling is telling them that the impeachment didn't hurt trump, and this extremely aggressive push with the BLM shit says the same about the virus. My guess is they think the virus actually helped Trump's numbers and they are completely desperate now.
It's really something, there must be economic backers fucking terrified about an illegal immigration decline leading to them having to pay a tiny bit more for low skill work, or having a slight tarrif applied on them for shipping jobs to China, because I really don't think anything else Trump has done has really been significant enough to cause this kind of fear. He hasn't really fucked with the democrats all that badly, and he hasn't caused any actual crisis or anything. The only other thing he really does is call out the individual reporters for being trash rather than just criticizing "the media", but this shit is too widespread to be happening because a few faggy reporters had their feelings hurt.

They push polls showing Biden is rising and GOP is also at risk of losing the Senate. And to be fair, some of these GOP fucks need to be primaried and removed such as Graham, Lee, Romney, etc...

What is the difference between a internal poll and the polls that all these professional firms and mainstream media outlets push?

I feel that it would be too much of a cultural and economic dislocation (they can't really bring their entire economy over as well, and would be starting from scratch)- it would probably be better to extend an open invitation for those who want to leave for the UK, and then negotiate with Taiwan to fund and build a New Hong Kong somewhere on their west coast as a second alternative. Hong Kong's main economic advantage is acting as an interface/money laundering spot between the world and China, and it wouldn't work too far away.

This boosts Taiwan (an ally), and the shorter distance allows for more of a cultural and economic continuity. Would have to be done unofficially though, since the CCP is petty in ways you wouldn't imagine.

Hmm, push polls are used to alter enthusiasm/turnout (Why bother voting?) and push narratives (DRUMPF is losing!), while internal polls are objectively used to assess campaign strategy and messaging?

You know what? I'm actually down for this. Let as many of them as they want move into a new place and call it home.

Give them New York or California, let them secede and see how well they do. We can trade with them, offer aid when necessary, and they could essentially be a country we could be allies with. They could have representatives at the UN and all that other fun stuff. But at the end of the day, they can run the country as they see fit.

If they turn it into a thriving nation, then we can consider the experiment a success.
