People think the purpose of the police are to stop crimes from taking place and arrest criminals so they see justice in court.

I propose the purpose of police is to prevent citizen versus citizen retribution.

Like, every libshit I know IRL hates farms and agriculture with a fiery passion, and they were apathetic towards food shortages from supply chains during COVID-19 panic, because they assume food magically appears at Whole Foods from a fucking genie or something.

The right doing nothing was their best play. *the best move is not to play* If they had done anything, they would have been labeled as the dictators the left slathers over having to fight.

Instead, the left is left with two possibilities: let the angry mob continue, which will turn the citizenry against the cause the mob rallies around, BLM and Antifa and "anti white" in this case along with doing significant damage to democratic areas, damage that Trump can swoop in afterwards and promise to help rebuild, giving him more political clout; OR they can try to abandon the mob as they are not getting the traction they wanted, but this alienates them from the angry loud mobsters that wanted Leftist support.

By doing nothing the Right forced the Left to play themselves, regardless of which path the left takes they turn the public or their voter base against them.

My prediction: Nothing will happen. So much data backs up corona not killing more then 0.1% of those it infects, the vast majority of those deaths coming from nursing homes, and even nursing homes vastly overestimating the number of deaths, and it being far more widespread then previously thought. This lack of cases will cause a third round of protests when states STILL refuse to open things back up in the face of mounting evidence.

The fun part is the censorship teams cant STFU about what they do. Whenever someone goes against the social media narrative, the internet mob drowns them with labels and hatred. Constantly. A teenager will see this and it will only fuel the "fuck you" teenage mindset. Just like how, despite overwhelming media control, huge numbers of people not only oppose the continued lockdowns, but are fully aware how utterly useless the surgical and cloth masks are at stopping corona, and the true spread of the disease being far outside the scope of what governments confirm being widespread thought.

To be a soy-millennial and quote star wars: "the more you tighten your grip, the more systems will slip through your fingers".

Look no further then China, despite dominant media control, there was massive backlash to the government's handling of the crisis, and nuggets of truth were widely propagated.

Nah, they did. Frank Capra did a series of films for the U.S. Army called "Why We Fight". They explain the rise of the Nazi Party (and Hirohito's accession, I think), as well as multiple theatres of war, like Nanking and China, Leningrad, etc.
