From my understanding Vordrak went after the payment processors that the bank uses. Jewsh is on the bad boy list with them and I'm guessing Vordrak convinced them they are laundering money to him through NP2. Probably harassed the processors to where they then pressured the bank of either dropping Dax or they will pull their service (which would be a deathnail for a bank).

To give an earnest answer, I think Dick's style of comedy gives him way more longevity than Asterios. Asterios just yells and plays off of word associations. Dick's funny jokes are never when he's yelling, but are when he's taking an abstract point of view on a very simple subject. It's really just basic improv that him and Sean play off of but they often go to a funny place with it.
