Holy shit.

Being warm doesn’t magically allow you to grow crops all year round. A lot of tropical climates are interrupted by excessive rain or dry seasons. Even if you are in a zone where you can grow everything all of the time, you will still need to have the ability to plan ahead for other purposes. Such as livestock and other things.

One thing I've been thinking about with the talks of disbanding the police is...

... what about EMTs? Suppose they're called to a potentially dangerous situation and need cops to protect them? Then what? Is a trained civilian going to talk down the schizophrenic guy slicing people up?

Like I really do wonder if the protesters calling for disbandment realize that.

They won't need EMTs, they'll just shout or use smoke signals to summon a witch doctor who will heal their bullet wounds with ground up leaves. They also won't need any firefighters. They'll just have Tyrone walk around the neighborhood carrying a bucket of water.

Why stop there? If the police and prisons are eliminated, how can the left prosecute people for using hate speech and improper pronouns? How can illegal weapons be confiscated in a potential gun ban? How can feminists file charges against rapes? How can Trump be imprisoned (as per all of these Boomer Facebook memes depicting Trump behind bars)?
