They are actually bringing up cases like Julien Cole to support why the UK has a police brutality problem and we should keep rioting fighting for justice without giving two flying fucks about the circumstances surrounding it. Just need that social media outrage.

He was getting leary, got progressively worse, his friends kept getting leary. They were threatening to bottle people and hurt staff over an £8 entrance fee when the whole reason they were ejected was a consistent refusal to do what was asked - to get off the stage.

People are setting up go fund mes and asking for justice for him - the three officers were dismissed for lying in their reports, but from what I have read they were in a situation where they had to make a judgement call. They made the wrong calls, lost their jobs for it, but people want blood. Because black lives matter fam.

I spent a few hours yesterday combing through the complaints they are making in the UK - during which time I discovered the following:

The UK, besides Japan and a handful of smaller Scandinavian countries, had the lowest police fatality rate in the world. Overall I would say second, small Scandinavian utopias don't count.

There are some egregious cases they highlight, however, most of them refer to cases in the 1980's and early 90's. They bring up the wrongfully killed Brazilian on the tube, mistaken for a terrorist bomb plotter. A terrible case of mistaken identity and police failure, but are you going to tell me this dude looks black?

Mostly not the case, but in fact mistakes made in the heat of the moment as with Mark Duggan

- most of which get investigated thoroughly by the IPCC - they are largely cases where the police were either entirely justified, but they are obfuscating the facts, or the individual died as a result of their own behaviour prior to or during police care. This includes the two examples of people eating bags of drugs before subsequently dying.

Not only this, but even the BBC have ran an article that points out that if you look at the numbers of those arrested in the UK - white people are 25% more likely to die in Police custody in the UK than black people. They just happen to get arrested at a higher rate - I wonder why. So is it institutional racism against whites? No, it's probably because the white demographic is older. But no, lets go in the street chant names and deface war memorials.

In short, the complaints in the UK are bullshit.

As of now, there's no evidence to support claims of coordinated brick placements at protests.

Man, it's been a while since I was in Dundee, I forgot it was full of these spastic wannabe revolutionaries.

Scotland has had one police death due to use of force in 50 fucking years, what are they on about.

I would also add, the figures they are presenting are wrong.

Research by INQUEST, a charity, suggests that 1,563 people have died either in police custody or following contact with the police in England and Wales since 1990, including police shootings. 156 of these people were listed as black and minority ethnic, so about 10% of the total.

So I think they have merged the above two sources. Strangely, if 14% of those who died were BAME then that is in line with the UK population and therefore would represent an equal society.

I think the only example they have that's fair is no UK police officer has ever been convicted, but this is not the fault of the government - lots of these have gone to trial and the jurys have aquitted them all.

The stories about brick pallets weird me the fuck out, but also remember that there is always construction going on in the country and nearly every project has at least some brick facade as part of the structure.

Also it’s common practice to store materials on site.

Also I have yet to see a single picture of a pallet of bricks in a place it shouldn’t be, despite the meme circulating.

I think it’s stupid to rule out the possibility that there’s serious backing for the protests, in fact I think it’s more likely than not. But I’m still skeptical of the brick claims specifically. I think it’s more likely that people who don’t know how the fucking world works are shocked to see bricks in the open at urban construction jobs where they’re building shit with bricks.

From the post, a Hong Kong dev created a surveillance site that alerts users with information from online police scanner stalkers. Adding alerts to the map requires a key to enter in data, yet I'm not sure how secure that is.

I was able to get the full footage of the BLM event today in Toronto with the based leaf in blackface mocking his supreme leader. The crowd followed, demanded the police officers arrest him and when they didn't immediately get their way they talked about burning down the city. They even said "if that were a black man he'd be on the ground", so a black man would be shot dead for wearing black face?
