A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

If popularity is what determines if someone has a gift at something then I'll just leave you to sus out the long-form implications of that idea. By that same logic Micheal Bay is a "gifted film-maker"
He's very good at longform commercials and military propaganda, if the questionable transformers films, Pearl Harbour, and Benghazi are anything to go by. I don't think he enjoys making them anymore, though.

Actually you can find plenty of essays talking about how he is.

His story construction just sucks.

Does this mean that Harry actually lost the Wizard War because Voldemorts ideology of hate continued to spread?

Nothing she said would have been controversial 10, even 5 years ago.
The walls are closing in. Only reason she's immune to cancel culture is her hundreds of millions in net worth.

5-10 years ago, "Men can have periods, too!" would have been ignored and laughed at. These days the majority of people still think it is crazy, but they are too afraid to say it. We are forced to stay silent while children find facts about basic biology and sexuality in a loony bin where everybody, yes you, even you, even little Suzie down the street and Suzie's mom might have a dick too. Women who fought to get the word 'menstruation' even mentioned on television are having a few dozen centuries worth of progress pulled out from under them.

So yeah, good for Rowling. Also kudos for running afoul of both political ends. Harry Potter books used to be anti-Christian training manuals for witchcraft. Now they get to be brainwashing Nazi propaganda.

If a rapist says changes have made them less likely to offend I think the rule is that they may not be charged, but only if they agree to castrate themselves.

What a time to be alive.
except it's been proven that castrating pedos does nothing for urges, so long as they still have fingers and a tongue.

Seven. In ten weeks. And we’re supposed to bend over backwards for this group because SEVEN of them have been killed in the last TEN weeks? That’s 1/3 as many as have been killed in the riots this week. cry more.

The problem, author, is that your own language here undermines your argument. They’re not women. They’re ‘transgender’ women. Transgender modifies women. Otherwise you would have written ”Rowling insists that women are not women.” Which you can’t do, because it sounds absurd on its face.

I’m glad Rowling finally says this. Looks like cancel culture finally has to cancel the only author they’ve ever read for finally having the balls to not just pander.
I think that this article only pretends to be against Rowling. By printing all of her words, in context, it allows anyone reading to see how sensible they are.

At the end of the day, most people weren't going to war over words, but now that these same insane idiots are burning down cities, they are done.
