Of all the people to white knight why Holden? Volunteer at a homeless shelter or something. There are plenty of people who are in bad places through no fault of their own and are far more deserving of sympathy than Holden.

For some reason, the first thing I think of when I read "a guy who didn't cheat on his wife and took care of his kids," I think of "A guy who cheated on his wife and neglected his kids." Mr. @Holden, have you considered the importance of establishing credibility in your writing? I'm getting pretty tired of invoking Mr. @Cowlick, especially since you still think you can white knight him and all, but he has a unique sort of revealing naivete in his diatribes, much in the way your writing exposes you for being batshit insane. Advice: Taking responsibility for your offspring and not committing adultery are generally assumed to be a default mode of action in most societies that I've ever heard of. I admit I'm not too studied on the subject, so maybe that's just me being optimistic.
