Honestly, I don't think they get it. They have this deep-set mentality that when they get in trouble, it's not because they were openly behaving in a way that the vast majority of other people agree is hazardous or shitty, it's because whoever caught them has a grudge against them and is being mean.

It's like that cartoonist lolcow who drew a comic strip that featured self-insert character shoplifting. Tons of people got pissed about it because shoplifting is wrong and it was clearly written in a way that the audience was supposed to find funny or sympathetic, but she and several of her defenders couldn't grasp that -- In their mind, shoplifting is totally normal and everyone who was mad was just unfairly dogpiling on the author because she was trans or whatever.

I don't understand how hard it is to get, but maybe that's because I was raised by parents who actually told me to knock it off when I was being an insufferable little maggot.

If you're in the US outside a big city or in a gated community you'll probably be OK. Basically the poor areas of the blue cities will burn, people in gated communities will be protected by armed ex-police private security and people outside the cities will form armed neighborhood watch groups to deter invaders

He's done nothing George W did, nothing even Obama did, and yet he's portrayed as the worst President in History by the media and talking heads.
