Maybe when this starts happening more, maybe when these riots start touching the lives of the suburban slacktivists as opposed to being something they can safely virtue signal at from a distance, maybe then it will stop. Its very easy to applaud Tyrone and his crew burning some ghetto target, but when its their shit being stolen, I think they'll be a lot less understanding.

Yeah, this way of thinking is super common now. My Jewish parents are planning to bug out to Israel if Biden wins and currently is stockpiling things incase SHTF and there's issues getting a flight to israel. Jews are generally the canary in the coalmine historically, if they start prepping to leave, things are about to get really bad.

I can already picture the leadup to it. It'll be like how they tried to "reclaim" all of those "alt-right symbols", they'll say something like "right now it is the most powerful word they have. It's time we take it, and turn it back on them."
 
Honestly, if any part of the criminal justice system is in need of massive reform, it's the judiciary. Judges have way too much power with way too little accountability. Like, I can think of one judge who has ever been held accountable for corruption, and it's a guy who was getting kickbacks from a private juvenile detention facility for massively over-sentencing kids. Even then, it probably only happened because he accidentally locked up the wrong guy's nephew or something.

I think it was this thread I discovered the term cottagecore and of course it would drive soy bug creatures mad.

With the onslaught of bullshit in the streaming world I've upgraded my home server's storage with some of my Trump bux so I can go on a piracy spree with Plex. If media conglomerates support criminal groids I'm sure they won't mind people like me stealing their back catalog (Nu-Star Wars and capeshit is so bad I don't even want to steal it) of movies and music.

I've been long disconnected and struggling, but trying to come back to my faith recently. I've been praying again. I'll pray for you both and everyone else as well.
