I'm a decently big white guy, and sometimes I wear junky cloths like a hoodie and sweatpants due to lazyness, working out, or just walking my dog in my pajamas. Can confirm that sometimes women (and small men) appear nervous when they're more or less isolated with me and have no idea who I am. I don't threaten to rape them. You know what I do? I just give them a "good morning/evening." I do the same thing when I greet neighbors out and about, give guys the subtle head nod (you know the one), and wave at cops driving by. Crazy how that works huh? Crazy how not chimping out, beating people, and looting but instead acting like a polite member of society makes people receptive to you.

I've lurked for literal years, I just saw quite a few people that wanted to discuss the general concepts / start a bookclub for the past few days and no one took up the reigns, so I gave it a shot myself.
