U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

This is beating a dead horse, I know, but is this chart true? If we’re policing 350,000,000 people and less than a 1000 a year die (why and how is another story) .. ain’t that a good ratio? Is it worth dismantling the entire police system over?
The numbers overall line up with what I've seen. An American is 40x more likely to die in a car wreck than be shot and killed by police, or 270x more likely to die from diabetes related issues.

God, can you imagine how a normal cop from Minneapolis feels right now? Imagine losing your job and having to watch the city you love and want to protect go up in flames because one of your coworkers decided to be a power-tripping dickhead.

If I were one of them, I'd pack up the wife and kids and go get a job in some small town where people won't spit on me for wearing a uniform.

What part of overdosed while waiting for an ambulance is so hard to understand?

Well, as far as numbers go, yeah it's a good ratio. But it's people's lives.

I've always felt strongly that police need to be reformed, specifically training, salary, benefits, counseling. I think trying to come up with a "good" number isn't the point, I think we need to work on getting the number down, and getting other (positive) numbers up. This is all nonsense now of course, the police have been demonized to such a degree that social media is ablaze with idiots claiming anything with a cop is problematic (i.e. Into the Spider-Verse... Miles' dad is a cop, but they are black, so people are torn).

Here's a riddle for everyone: how do we go through several months of lockdown with 14% unemployment and have the S&P return to pre-Covid state when it was 30% off before?

And how about the Dow closing at 27,000? It dropped to 19,000 during the pandemic after a high of around 29,000.

This doesn't make a lot of sense. Trump is not leading in the polls, Biden is. Markets are usually depressed when the D is leading. Also, our cities just burned, there's a lot of places that are not coming back immediately.

A few hypothesis:

- Companies are cash rich from stimulus dollars they never spent because they laid everybody off.

- There's a vaccine, it works, and they are scaling up to have 100M doses by the time it completes testing. They haven't told anybody, it's a campaign surprise.

- The markets have been adjusted to recognize equity, they are tracking all the kneeling and now they reflect the real value of transactions and currency.
The reality of the situation is that the economic shutdown wasn't as bad as expected, Corona virus wasn't as bad as expected, the unemployment stimulus $600 bonus worked, and many of the lost jobs will come back as America returns to normal. Markets are forward looking projections, and frankly the Corona virus lock-downs probably didn't really affect the 500 or even 2000 biggest companies' future outlook in America that much.

If anything, these riots prove Americans are ready to get back out again, which could be taken as a positive sign for the market.

edit: remember that mom & pop shops are private equity rather than public, so their success and failure is only loosely and indirectly reflected by the stock market. Also, major indices used by most financial normies as benchmarks tend to track only the largest companies

Unless she converted, his mother is not Jewish. Her maiden name is Williams, her family is of English decent. She raised him as a single mom after his black dad skipped out on them.

It’s sad that Peele has turned into such a bitter crank. Here he is as a kid asking Bill Clinton about what he’d do to help single moms dealing with deadbeat dads:

His college roommate and future writer on Key and Peele was Rebecca Drysdale who is Jewish and lesbian. Maybe that’s where the confusion is coming from.

At any rate, both Key and Peele are biracial and have married white women. It’s interesting that the black side of them only comes out when they have to pander to the masses.

It reminds me of Jesse Williams from Grey’s Anatomy who went off on a tangent at the BET awards in 2016 about racial injustice and the “invention of whiteness”...while his white mother sat in the front row. BTW, he later cheated on his wife and married a white woman, just FYI.

If Abraham Lincoln's statue came to life and campaigned for president, I'd probably do my best to try to help his campaign. Something tells me his presidency would be a hell of a lot different than what the leftists think.

"In their fourth debate, at Charleston, Illinois, on September 18, 1858, Lincoln made his position clear. 'I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races,' he began, going on to say that he opposed blacks having the right to vote, to serve on juries, to hold office and to intermarry with whites."

Honestly, Abe.

A few months ago I'd have said no but then we closed down the entire economy, destroyed tens of thousands of businesses and put 40 million people on unemployment over a bad chest cold. So yes, it's perfectly possible police forces will be disbanded in certain deep blue cities. We live at a time where a significant proportion of the population are objectively bat shit insane.
Think you mean 14 mil unemployed, unless you mean all over the Earth.

These economic numbers, to me, answer a question about the riots.

The Communists are going to burn down the white house, demand the surrender of the US government, and take all the money to distribute to the poor people of the Earth to atone for the sins of the white man.

Which is to say, funnel 90% of the proceeds to the CCP to fund the worldwide revolution. And put white men in chains and use them as slaves until they can slave no more.

That's why they've been pushing for soyboys, that's why they've been pushing for trannies, that's why they've been purging people from media and entertainment, and that's why they've been doing all these struggle sessions and shit.

The prize just got bigger. On paper.

It'll be funneled into the November election, or go into people's pockets. The multinationals want Trump out ASAP but they can't give millions to the DNC directly. BLM and other left wing NGOs have always acted as useful money laundering operations. Anyway it isn't a trillion, more like a billion, if they actually cough up the full amount, which I'm skeptical about.
I'm betting that it's based largely on Trump's stance against China- as the rest of his economic views aren't that different from Biden's.

it seems that the corporations still think that you can play with China and win in the end...

Agreed though that it isn't a trillion, more like a $1 billion+ give or take.

Probably also because up until a few weeks ago, the stock market was the only way to earn money.

As for Biden, I think they assume that he'll either be a good corporate boy (I fully expect his hypothetical Presidency to be led in proxy by his advisors) or that they feel like he isn't going to win in the end as Trump will likely push for a strong economic recovery. For riot damage, it was mostly bourne by retail and small business, the big expensive buildings and crucial infrastructure were barely damaged.

The police suck, but blacks complain about black men that point guns at the cops getting shot by the cops. It's an irreconcilable difference between blacks and whites. In most of those police killing cases, the person was armed, btw.
Wait BLM is an organization not just a movement?
The originators of the hashtag and call to action, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi, expanded their project into a national network of over 30 local chapters between 2014 and 2016.
Alicia Garza was born in Oakland, California on January 4, 1981. Garza grew up in Oakland in a mix-raced household with a Jewish father and a black mother.

I read somewhere that white women who have kids with black men are abandoned 90% of the time. Obama, Kaepernick, Peele, all examples. Hilariously his comedy partner, Michael Key, also has a white momma and black daddy, and his dad also ran out on them when he was a baby, but at least he was adopted by a mixed race couple so had a more normal upbringing, and he's way less of a cunt. All of these dudes are over compensating.

The funniest part is blaming white people for their nigger fathers running away.

Financially, BLM seems to be several organizations. Brilliant, really. They set up BLM franchises all over the country, just like fast food. That's kinda racist itself, if the organization was in fact set up by white people.

In blue states they count as white :^)
Yeah but only when we're incognito

Unintentional double-post. A thousand pardons.

Trump largely broke from the DNC way of selling jobs overseas. If Biden is even remotely close to Trump's positions on the economy, he's just rebranding Trump's own policies and will abandon those stances shortly after entering office. The silent majority sees through this I'm sure. The only people who miss Obama are the morons lighting things on fire and killing each other.

Frankly, I'm okay with the first part of this scenario: it shifts the boog from a rebellion against the established US government to a counter-revolution against a Communist takeover.

Looks like we are getting close to 1 trillion in pledges combined to "BLM" from big corps. 1 trillion... and nothing will come of it. Wonder what would happen if you took the top few people from multiple career markets?

Like a few of America's best computer scientists, a few of the best research scientists, best biologists, maybe throw a few of the top accountants and finance guys in there too.. stick em in a big building and then hand them 1 trillion... Jordan Peterson said it best once: "We are not built on a hierarchy of patriarchy, but a hierarchy of competence." Just imagine putting 1 trillion into the hands of the competent. What would happen? What would we get from it? But instead we get.....

It's a big load of money that I'm sure will go towards teaching the community about their privilege. And they can build and anti-racism church with a solid gold statue of George Flloyd inside, where you can confess how sorry you are.

I'm a bit optimistic that they'll even donate money. Its all show and tell. I hope BLM demands the recipts for their "donations". That shit would be funny as fuck to watch.

The polls the media are pushing are skewed to show Biden leading. They did this all the time in 2016. Remember, a lot of the polls were showing Hilary having a 75% chance or better of beating Trump.

I don't know if anyone has been around niggers as much as me but they will complain about anything and everything. Any and everything perceived as a slight is due to racism. They'd probably beat Jews in a kvetch-off
