The riots seem to be over, but (mostly) peaceful protests continue, and the legal system begins its grind.

Detroit
Windsor, Canada (small city across the border from Detroit) individual arrested for shining a laser at a helicopter on June 3. No details about suspect given.

40 year old white man who allegedly drove into a crowd of protestors has been arraigned on one felony count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and one misdemeanor count of reckless driving.

I don't think so. What you're seeing now has been mainstream at colleges for some time. An 18 year old with these beliefs is pretty harmless, and editor at the NYTs who decides what gets covered and how it will be covered less so.

If they retain power of those institutions for an other 5 years everyone will have the perception that it has always been that way and the change will be permanent.

You'd think it would have happened sooner if that were the explanation, Microaggressions were invented in the 70s, and white privilege in the 80s. Yet despite being one of the earlier concepts, saying "microaggressions" makes you look ridiculous outside of extreme SJW areas. Something had to have caused the sudden leap out of academia and into the wider public consciousness and not just the slow trickle of graduates and students posting on Tumblr and the like. Maybe it's just Twitter+the decline of religion causing a ton of people to log on, find this shit and use it to fill the void.

I can't think of a starker contrast between Conservative and Liberal than seeing those two on TV at the same time.

I don't agree with everything David Clarke did in Milwaukee, but if SHTF, I would prefer to have the Sheriff as my next-door neighbor 10 times out of 10 over the decadent and subversive worm known as Don Lemon.

My understanding of 'white supremacy' is that it's basically when white people aren't straight up actively trying to make themselves second class citizens. Not castigating oneself as a whitey is somehow seen as a threat to other groups. White supremacy is the audacity to not hate yourself; it's an excuse for other groups to cope about why they're not doing as well. On both sides of the coin it's a god complex, or a parent-child relationship. The whites are supposed to act like proper adults with responsibilities and the brown people are supposed to be the kid wearing them down screeching that mommy needs to give them a new fucking toy or an ice cream or something. And the acceptance of this label by so many whites is partly due to a strong lack in group preference, a long held campaign to say that having such a preference is evil, and frankly a lack of perspective due to just how advanced western societies are (for most - obviously someone in Appalachia is going to be different than some dipshit in Portland).

Personally I think there's probably a lot of fear from the people who moan about 'white supremacy'. If the day ever came in their lifetime that whitey wasn't around their collective ego would be crushed when it turned out that they have to come to grips that maybe the only thing holding them down was their own ability. It would be even more crushing to realize that mommy isn't around to lay a guilt trip on too when it's been such a trusted tactic.

White people (and conservatives), in general don't seem to understand the dirtiest aspects of the world in my opinion. They don't understand that power is what matters to many other groups. They don't understand that much of the world doesn't share their morality. In fact the morality that much of the western/white world has is allowing itself to go off of a cliff. If you're not actively standing up to encroachment then it's simply seen as a green light to encroach by those who wish to (be it politically or physically). It doesn't matter if you say "But we just want to be friends. Why can't we just have peace? There's enough to go around!" That just gets translated into them thinking you're a bitch - and frankly, they're being proven that it's kind of the case when you see the entire western world conceding to them, subsidizing them and kowtowing to them. Afraid to talk about race (in honest terms), always giving preferential treatment in politics, academia, media, etc., regressing as societies that debate if they should even have borders, and a host of other issues just emboldens these groups be it other ethnicities or political ideologies.

I don't know anyone who's been blackpilled or at least I don't know anyone who's admitting to it irl. I live among weak liberals who seem to believe that guilt and blame are the path to salvation. People are seriously claiming that defunding the police will be a magical panacea for all of the societal ills in the black community. TDS is in hyper-mode, too.

Hey, hindsight is 20/20. Nobody could have seen this shit coming in 1939 (ok, Hitler probably did but he just sounded like a madman to non-German speakers) , all they knew is that the Axis Powers were trying to drag the world back into despotism, and the instincts of the Eternal Anglo revolt against such things. They probably didn't realize that the war would be so big that it would reforge the American national identity into "we beat the Nazis", all but guaranteeing a continuous leftward shift as the right of each era is constantly hobbled by fear of being compared to the ultimate evil.

That doesn't answer my question. What does the average white joe (not a BLM activist, doesn't tweet much if at all, has a job) thinks when they see 'white supremacy', what is this entity that they think exists and can be defeated? I know it's all bullshit, but they think it's not, and I have no concept of what the hell they are thinking.
