The way companies like Apple and Google use the single market to reduce corporation tax is even more legal than what he just did. How is he going to argue against them in the future?

"Don't hate the player, hate the game" doesn't work in these circumstances either. Destiny tends to promote a more liberal economy but that requires high trust. Corruption is damaging not because of the misdirection of funds but because of the lack of confidence across the wider economy. It's why when communism, fascism, etc wreck a country they're wrecked for generations as the trust is gone.

He's cucked himself in so many debates now and it's going to keep coming up. I wonder how he's going to bend it so he can rationalise his arguments as consistent.

PPP (haw haw) loans are a complicated provision of the CARES Act. Basically, small businesses can apply for and get emergency loans to help cover 8 weeks of payroll, rent, utilities, and mortgage interest. They're 2-year loans at 1% interest, which is already ridiculously good, and they're also subject to partial or full forgiveness as long as they're used for their intended purpose. The rules for how you can use them for this purpose are complicated, vague, and get changed and rewritten pretty much daily.

There were a couple of mad scrambles by small businesses desperate to make payroll (since most small businesses have next to no cash reserves) to apply for and get their loans, and the funds ran out very quickly each time. From a business perspective I can't fully blame Destiny for scooping up free money that was in reach, but it does call into question whether he's committed to any of the shit he endorses.

Wasn't that because Chunk's Nephew is abusing the fact he's Chunk's nephew? Because being able to just leech off of an established guy's audience (who gave him his first and only job after being a NEET) does help a lot.

I think Destiny also contributed heavily into Hasan's rise, at least on Twitch. Steven's consistently been a cow for longer, but Hasan's outbursts are jucier.

I'm fairly certain all the twitch viewers aren't coming to watch him know or care about TYT, it seems more to do with networking with other large streamers like XQC

It’s ironic, Hasan is by his own admission completely inept at arguing a point against an opposing party. When trainwreck hosted a big stream with him and Destiny vs Sargon and Fuentes, he single handedly dragged his side down and made Destiny look bad merely by association. Guess being good at internet arguments isn't such a valuable skill after all. Also, "go back to turkey"? Steve sounds like he's on the verge of a gamer moment.
