But it's every bit as much of an assumption to say he has NPD. In fact, arguably a greater fallacy, as someone's lived experience is their own but nobody can diagnose Grub over the internetsies even if anyone were qualified to do so.
Even if he were a true narc (as opposed to just having narcissistic tendencies) then there could be any other number of pathologies and/or behaviours which set up equal or greater drives. Some don't display the GC/scapegoat differentiation, they just hate all their kids equally. And Grub is barely a thinker at all, there are as likely to be any number of cognitive dissonances going on in that gigantic watery head as a consistent display of narcissism as written in the textbooks. For instance, would any fetish be a greater drive if it happened to counter NPD traits? That's just one example.
Grub is an obnoxious fuck-up with a horribly deformed knob, anything else is conjecture. Dunno where that fits in the DSM.

From what we are shown, he has moved into the basement (beside for that photoshoot from the other day) and is living a fantasy in which he's not a husband, a father, and someone who is currently being investigated by the FBI. Oh, and also that stuff with the wetlands and the IRS.
He has his little daybed with Wal-mart polyester sheets and a mini fridge, and is trying to sell the... playboy fantasy, I guess? And has extremely rarely nominated his wife in the last months. Might have already been answered by the time I read this, but in short: the Chris Hansen investigation was mired to the brim in controversy because Vincent Nicotra, Hansen's right hand man was terminally exceptional. He kept going on powertrips on Twitter and on top of this, he kept Kai's laptop in his apartment for 2 months instead of sending the laptop directly to the FBI. In essence, any possible evidence against Kai is now liable to be inadmissible in court due to Vince's involvement.
John Swan did a really good video on the problems with Onision's investigation.

Greg and Lainey are both currently being investigated by the FBI. A lot of people don't realize just how fucked someone is once they've brought on the attention of the FBI. I've posted statistics regarding federal investigations enough, so I won't be an autist and post them more. But the numbers show that Greg and Lainey are exponentially more likely to end up in prison at the end of this.
The laptop of Sarah's is just a tiny fraction of the evidence I believe the FBI is gathering against them. The types of federal crimes they are both being investigated for do not have statues of limitation. For that reason, federal investigators have no reason to hurry through any of this. They can use it to their advantage to gather every bit of evidence out there. Another important thing to keep in mind is that the federal age of consent is always 18.

He should have been run up the flagpole with a thistle up his bum by the IRS - I've sperged at length about it before so won't bore you all again but he could most definitely be seen as into tax evasion territory and I cannot fathom how your notoriously bullish IRS have really let him get away with it TWICE.
Then the environmental stuff. Knowledgeable farmers who've tangled with those agencies were convinced he'd get reamed, but again he really got a bit of a slap and he's done absolutely nothing to fulfil their very light requiremements AND bought more land to destroy. Halfway thru their investigation he was sticking massive lights on spikes into nature trees and nobody even seems to have noticed...
His neighbourhood association could string him up by the balls. Nada.
He gets away with heinous abuse of the YT strike system, claiming god knows how much $$$$ via strikes which are against ToS time after time with no repercussions.
He didn't even get a bollocking over wasting court time with the whole Repzion/wrong-Chris-Hanson fiasco.
And apart from anything else, the whole FBI thing is not only so tainted that any defence lawyer could drive trucks through it; grooming is very difficult to prove, the Shiloh stuff is years ago, she's behaved like a complete mentalist and absolutely everybody has thrown their ten cents in loudly therefore opening up the possibility of public bias....just thinking about how someone like Regina would come across with her ridiculous "they/them/zir/zum" nonsense, her self-important insertion when she's nothing more than a thwarted side-piece of Lainey; Billie who can't string a sentence together without saying "like" every other word, god knows how many other hangers-on - all of whom were evidently only too happy to suck his small, deformed dick when he had loads of money and status to progress their lamentable careers in "entertainment" - is just toe-curling.

I’ve wondered if the severe drop in his video quality in the past few years was because the feds confiscated all of his expensive editing and uploading gear.
It feels like a long time has passed, but didn’t the Sarah debacle happen only two years ago? 2019? My knowledge of federal investigations isn’t great (having never been involved in one myself), but my understanding is that they can take years...particularly when there is so much evidence to sift through.
Ultimately? Maybe it’s all a tempest in a teacup. Maybe nothing will come of it. Gurg-watching is not anything that affects my life in any meaningful way: the milk will flow where it will, and pinning your hopes on a specific timeline and outcome is not healthy. I’m old enough to have seen the original airing of that tosh.0 episode in my college dorm. Since then, I’ve come a long way.... but Gurg will always be a miserable spurg, saying and showing anything in the wild hope of being relevant again.
