I think they figured that out pretty damn quick. Remember, the Mayans (and Aztecs) weren't some unified culture. They were like medieval Italy on steroids-- TONS of city-states, princes, princesses, all fighting like dogs in a cage for the same patch of land. Warfare and sacrifice was a big part of life for these peoples. They totally captured each other and sacrificed each other. That's why they placed such importance on sacrifice and worship to their gods. "If we give you the most cherished things in our lives (or our enemies' lives), you'll help us win."

Powerleveling but my grandfather was an anthropologist who studied the Mayans. This stuff is fascinating. I can tell you ancient Mayans would absolutely disapprove of lefty parenting techniques, that's for sure. Mayans did NOT suffer idle children.

I get the distinct impression all the Seattle homo zone is being done with the blessing of the City council or whatever passes for leadership. It could also be part of de-escalating the lawsuit brought against them for using tear gas.

The only downside with 7N6 is it's 5.45mm and that's not exactly popular in the US. The Russians do make interesting bullets though.

Honestly though, for handguns most would be better off getting a 9mm or .45 and getting reliable hollow points for them. Once you're in that range, don't worry about caliber as much as what you're most comfortable with. Federal HSTs are a solid choice. Look for the "law enforcement" branded boxes of 50 if you can order ammo online. They're a better deal than the usual 20 round boxes.

Watch them descend into a series of harems instead of one big commune. The only time I'd seen anyone cooperatively live together as one unit, with 50+ people, is when it was a bunch of women banging the one old head of the family. But that's family. Commune's invariably fall apart as people fall in love, get jealous, get protective, get greedy, feel unjustly treated, or unappreciated by the group. It'd destined to fail, but these things have the irritating characteristic of not going far enough to completely fail, instead being artificially propped up by some other support system so it looks like it's totally possible. They'll likely keep the city taking care of things like now, they're doing utilities, trash collection, etc.
