Media Matters once got ripped on by Bill Maher during the Obama Years for saying that chili peppers on a magazine was racist to vegans. Its a looney toon attention whore click bait site filled with loons. It has always been like that.

I actually know Jews who personally marched with MLK. The jewish involvement in the civil rights movement in support of blacks is something rarely talked about in schools but it was very prominent. Of course, dindus don't care (or know) about that.

An area decided to go from using city-specific police to a county-wide police since nothing ever really happened. It wasn't 'defunding' or 'disbanding' the police, it was reallocating since things were already pretty peaceful.

They scrapped the local force, brought in the county police, nearly doubled the number of staff, significantly increased the amount of funding that was given to that new police force, and hired on more whities such that it didn't reflect the demographic makeup of camden.

They're repeating it literally because they heard someone say it and assumed it must be true.

I should say this -did- work and did improve things. Who knew hiring on more cops and giving them more money could have such an impact?

One, it's a shithole, two, it has police presence. It's just county police.

/edit: Ninja'd. So the more reasonable folks around now assume that Minneapolis is gonna do this, just go for county police, and also think that that's what the protestors want. But clearly, the protestors want no police whatsoever. So that's gonna be fine. The Capitol Hill Autism Zone is soon gonna be the Kingdom of Raz.

Camden is still a shithole but since nobody bothers to report crimes, the crime rate has dropped. If it's not reported, it didn't happen.

I once floated the theory that Bernie Sanders wasn't a palatable candidate to older black voters because of his (((ethnicity))) and that was not a palatable theory to a lot of people.

The idea that old Southern Baptist ladies with Muslim grandsons just might have a problem with a Jewish guy? Nope, not open for any consideration, and I branded myself as a potential thought criminal by even suggesting it.

And this was right around the time of that wave of black-on-Jewish attacks, including the guy with the machete.

Because we're only allowed to call out antisemitic attitudes if the perpetrator is white.

Uncle Remus and Bre'r Rabbit is an adaptation of African American folktales. A huge criticism of Joel Harris, the author of the Remus tales, is that he was a second rate author when not transcribing black folk's lore. Harris said that by him writing these tales down, it was the only way to publish and preserve these tales.

It is literally the only ride or show that actually comes from African American culture in any Disney Park. The ride has already been stripped of Uncle Remus and the Tar Baby, so no magical negro or black face any more.

And it's easy to forget that over the weekend, a bunch of teens were doxing their parents via TikTok and Twitter videos for likes, which lead to many people actually being fired for simply speaking to their children in their own homes.
