A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

A Japanese region has made it illegal to out someone as LGBT+

Rosemary Ketchum has just won a seat on Wheeling City Council, becoming the first out trans person to win an election in West Virginia.
She becomes one of only 26 out trans elected officials serving anywhere in the US. Meanwhile, she is only the fourth LGBT+ elected official in West Virginia.
Ketchum has promised to use her term in office to advocate for affordable housing, tackle homelessness, combat addiction, and try to improve public transport.
However, she will also be a symbol for LGBT+ rights in West Virginia. It remains a relatively conservative state which doesn’t have anti-discrimination protections covering sexual orientation and gender identity.
Ketchum noted this double role in an interview with local newspaper The Intelligencer last year.
She said: ‘I feel excited to represent inclusivity — but I’m not making my campaign about my gender identity.
‘We have too many systemic problems we have to address, including homelessness, including addiction, including disenfranchisement.
‘People don’t feel like they are part of their community, and one of the things we have to focus on is why people are not feeling like part of the change.
‘There are folks who were born in the city and can no longer afford to live here. There are folks living on our streets and under our bridges who don’t have access to public restroom facilities.
‘We have folks looking for work but don’t have a car and our public transportation system doesn’t run past 6pm.’
Rosemary will inspire other trans candidates
The LGBTQ Victory Fund backed Ketchum’s campaign and president Annise Parker sent her congratulations.
She said: ‘Rosemary has shattered a lavender ceiling in West Virginia and will join the growing number of out trans elected officials serving nationwide.
‘Trans people are severely underrepresented in elected office – with just 26 out trans officials anywhere in the country. So Rosemary’s victory will resonate well beyond her state.
‘We know Rosemary’s race will inspire other trans people from conservative states to consider a run for office in their communities – and then those candidates will inspire others as well.
‘That virtuous cycle is the key to building trans acceptance and political power long-term.’
Ketchum beat three other candidates to represent Ward 3 on Wheeling City Council.

So is "Ketchum" his real last name or did he change his name completely just to make a pop culture reference, tranny style? He proves my point that, yet again, trannies never pass. Can you imagine being a 50-something conservative politician having to pretend to be okay with this knowing that his political career is on the line?

How tall is he? I love it when they look like ogres in a dress.

You could choose your own name and all you came up with was "Rosemary Ketchum" ?

Someone please tell us all this assholes real name.

Ian.

But he's a freak.

She was named Ian at birth, and Ketchum was raised in Beaver, Pa., with her older sister and two younger brothers. While her sibling attended public school, she was homeschooled by her mother and father.

“I think that my parents were sensitive, and they recognized certain feminine qualities that I have had since a very young age although they had never heard the term, ‘transgender.’ They had no idea what that meant,” Ketchum explained. “At that time they had only heard of homosexual or gay, but what they did know was that I would have faced discrimination if they had sent me to school, so they homeschooled me themselves.

“It would have been inevitable too, and I know that. There’s no way of knowing today how bad it would have been, but undoubtedly it would have been there, and they wanted to save me from that,” she said. “My parents were amazingly aware of that, and I feel it benefited me in more than one way.”

It was at the age of 12 when Ketchum made the decision to begin using a different name because she knew that Ian did not match the person she was.

“When I adopted the name ‘Rosemary,’ I believe that was probably one of the most difficult decisions my parents had to make,” Ketchum said. “And I was afraid I would pick something, and in 10 years I would regret it, but I think I was a pragmatic 12-year-old, so that’s why I chose ‘Rosemary.’

“And with it I could be ‘Rose’ or ‘Mary.’ I guess I was protecting the decision by thinking about it that way,” she continued. “But I remember thinking about it that way, and there’s not been any regret since.”

He's a full-on Hillary/ACLU tranny, not just some rich dude who happens to have a kink.

"This is the worst time for women because feminists acted like retards and made everybody hate them and some women choose to do porn!"

I don't care about her comments on trans people, it's basic Karen shit and it isn't very offensive at all. To view anything she says as extreme or hateful means that you must disagree extremely and really hate it which kind of bolsters people's point about trans activists being fucking insane people with extreme views who are in no way reasonable. Fuck JK though, I'm not going to defend her because she wouldn't show the same charity to anybody that disagrees with her politically.

Urgh it makes me sick to my stomach to watch JKR of all people make sense... But god damn is she right on this one. (:_(Now excuse me while I hurl chunks.

Also fucking Emma Watson should close her cockholster seriously. Anymore virtue signalling and she'd be in a troon gangbang giving out sum succ.
