The pitch itself is better than most CG crap, because he bothered to have a pitch, but the quality of the pitch is crap tho. "A war vet returns to his hometown and it's all fucked... but knights". it's one step higher than a basic concept. Also, he tries to say this is similar Berserk
Art is worse than generic indie crap. The shadows are ether absent or at the minimum. Monsters are just generic ghouls with warpaint.
And for all these 44 pages of indie abortion he's asking $25. $25 for 44 pages. That's only 12 pages bigger than a $5 annual, $5 more expensive than average 197 page TPB and $10 more expensive and 10 pages smaller than Doug's Soulfinder. I fully expect ComicsGate to put out a "Give me a blowjob" price tag soon

Yes, that comic looked fucking awesome, but YBZ's taste can be off. Unless it is 80's capes or some deep indie stuff, he cannot take it. You can give him to read something like Asterix and his braincogs would grind to a halt.

Huerta's bio says he's a concept artist for for Warner Bothers. Clearly he hasn't been living off the 40K he made from his IGG campaign 2 yrs ago.
I'm thinking CG has finally splashed back on him at his day job and now he's denying it which seems futile given the two years he's been neck deep in CG and WarCampaign.
Trying to cancel Huerta is a scumbag move. That being said, what did he expect to happen? In 2018 CG had some plausible deniability with regards to WarCampaign's gay ops and harassment but Ethan threw that out the window last year. Huerta has been tight with WC ever since.
Now Huerta's playing the SJW card shouting racism. I do get a kick out of watching people who called others snowflakes for playing the race card going straight to that play book themselves. Huerta is an SJW, or at least he is when it suits him.
What a bunch of two faced hypocrites.
Purity testing CG fans have begun to turn on Huerta for disavowing. Delay jumps in to defend Huerta but this is kind of funny considering they've both been kissing the purity testing asses of WarCampaign this entire time.

This is just getting ridiculous, I had to check the campaign pages to make sure you weren't pulling my leg.

To his credit Micah offered a $5 digital tier for his shitty deviant art book Englewood, with a physical for $10, combo for $15 and a directors cut for $20. The amount of pages in the original book was 36 making it's price per page 0.27 cents which isn't too terrible considering.
Now all of a sudden that Micah has produced one book, he still hasn't fulfilled, he thinks he's established enough to command $25 similar to Ethan or Zack? These Comicsgater's are fucking delusional, Doug T kept the same price for his books but increased the page count by 70 to 160 on his following campaigns. Tim Lim both increased the page counts and lowered the price on both Kamen American and The MAGAdorlian on his following campaigns.
Micah appears to be following the Sweetcast and Keung Lee model of increasing the price to $25 following their first campaign and he removes the digital option and gives you an extra 8 pages. For $20 on instock trades I can buy the Star Wars Epic Collections graphic novels, over 18 issues of
The price and shipping were both two of the biggest complaints within Comicsgate during 2018 and somehow over the past 2 years they have only made it worse.

Quick question, did we ever get a fact check on Frog's accusation that Doug's rich? I thought it was ridiculous but still. Goes a long way towards CG people saying they have to charge ridiculous prices to make money. Lim lowering his price was a good deal, he needs to dunk his current IGG to have his first big post-glove hit and lower prices and consistency will help him build.
